I’m hype !! I believe that’s in game transformation because tenkaichi always had a small cut scene when transforming and looks like they added a little more to the cut scene on tenkaichi 4 and it will be dope if every character had there own cut scene straight from the anime when transforming

My guess is it starts in super actually since the previous sagas and content we got in kakarot which is a recent entry. I'd also love for a complete experience from db to DBZ to gt to super and maybe even have characters from db heroes and the original characters from legends would be dope. The PS5 for example has been out for years now and excluding the difficulty then in getting one they are now fully available without shortage. So by the time this game drops if you don't have one thats on them. The reason why Raging blast failed was Bandai Namco tried to market it as a successor to BT3 (and for the whole part it is) except Raging Blast ended up having less content, characters etc. That's why RB1 did amazing but why there was a sharp drop for RB2 because fans realised that the Raging Blast series was lackluster compared to the Tenkaichi series. Hence why we never got a RB3...

This new Budokai Tenkaichi needs basically a full story mode. Starting from The 23 World Martial Arts Tournament Final (Goku vs Piccolo) but it cuts off to a Dragon Ball Story Events summary before set fight. Now this game (in my own opinion) should, first and foremost, throw away anything xenoverse and kakarot related stuff (non of that). And actually take the best elements from the previous game like: Budokai tenkaichi 3, budokai 3, Infinite World, Burst Limit and Dragon Ball Fighterz. Now, going back to the Goku vs Piccolo 23rd WT fight... this fight would basically be the 1rst out 3 tutorial fights (Goku vs Piccolo, Piccolo vs Raditz and the 2 vs 1 Goku/Piccolo vs Raditz)to showcase the overall mechanics of the game. Now here’s thing: This first version of Goku is basically the base one with the Kaioken (Basically the one from Fighterz) same type thing with Piccolo. With catch on the fact that... You will be able to fully use all their skills on training mode (lab or whatever you wanna call it) and other modes, but online. unless, you wanna jump in try online matches just like that or actually play the story mode and unlock the characters and all skills first. The overall story should be the important bits of the DBZ story(Saiyans Saga, Frieza Saga with a little chunk of The Special Bardock before that to unlock him and Seripa/Fasha. Then Mecha Frieza, Android Saga (with a little appearance of android 21’s human self), The Story of Thunks, The Cell games and Buu saga to finish the whole DBZ part of the story. As for Super (Starting with Battle of God and ending with Super Broly. The DLC Pack 1: Non Canon movie characters- Non Canon Broly, Cooler, Boyack, and Yanemba. Pack 2: The tournament of power story with the TOP Arena and 5 unlock able characters: DBS 17, Jiren Toppo, Kale, Caulifla (With their transformations) and the Kefla Base/SSJ fusión available after you finish the TOP story portion. Pack 3: Moro Arc with Story, new stage, Moro. Pack 4: Granolah Arc with new stage, Granolah and the 4th version of Vegeta(Base/Ultra Ego. And Pack 5: DB GT- Small story portion, new stages and 6 new playable characters: Omega Shenron, Kid Goku(Base/Ssj4), GT Vegeta(Base/Ssj4), Ssj4 Gogeta, Baby and Super Android 17. I believe the green signifies all saiyans have the ability to go full powered ssj like Broly but they cant due to their body size and learning ki control. Broly is huge and has zero control. I believe when he can control it like Kale his body will revert and be somewhat leaner.

gameplay wise this will be “similar” to xenoverse combat (fast) but of course tweaked a bit ,mixed with Kakarot graphics mixed with tenkiaichi game mechanics > so no special move cut scenes like the old games but maybe for ult > but expect everything from the previous titles Them referencing the previous game in the trailer let’s me know everything from the previous titles should be there and we should only be getting more mechanics added on along with updated features from the past

We need the saiyan battle vs frieza forces "what if" battle in space like with the original budokai tenkaichi 3. That back then was my favorite mission at the end. My favorite games were the budokai tenkaichi games played them every single day as a teen nonstop.

Dragon Ball Budokai series Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi series Dragon Ball Raging Blast series they're the best games I ever played in my life and I'm happy they brought Tenkaichi 4 the next one I want later on in the future is Raging Blast 3
