The Gohan Black arc was the best one hands down because think about it. Trunks is fighting an enemy who has the face of the man who trained him, who he saw as his first friend, the one who gave him hope. Seeing him destroy the world he wanted to protect is just gut wrenching. Plus seeing Goku and Vegeta cheering Gohan and Trunks as they are doing a master-student masenko against zamasu. It's perfect

Gohan Black arc is definitely the best thing that ever happened to fans like me since I felt disappointed Gohan didn’t get involved in helping Trunks, Goku and Vegeta in the Future Trunks Saga. Bandai has listened to the DB community and that fan request is really a dream come true. But I am curious about what would Black/Zamasu called his Ultimate form if Goku Black has Super Saiyan Rose? Would an evolved form of Gohan's Ultimate State be called ’Divine Gohan’? And I agreed that it sucks that we never got the chance to see Gohan vs Hit when Universe 7 competes with Universe 6. It would’ve given us a hint of his new Beast form.

There is so much potential for a goku black what if that's completely squandered because they played the safest card they had. BUT! for goku black, i have one more idea for a what if: reviving goku black and/or zamasu for the TOP instead of frieza. He could have some interesting dialouge with characters like the androids, the pride troopers and people like hit, frost or roshi. Maybe even let him team up with vegeta. Plus, it would be great to see his reactions to the other gods of destruction and zeno. And his and toppo's different views on justice and a god's duties.

He must learn how to, use his power at the right time instead of just going headfirst he must think about the people around him in a short way, he must remember the actions around them. Don’t just hurt him, but the people around him. and it can push and show us how strong before and during the tournament of power oh yeah, it could kinda be like a ark where Goku‘s not available at all like he has no way to come back without possibly making universe lose the tournament, so kinda still the, want to train the new generation and maybe get people like trunks go to and Gohan to go on Beerus’s planet show us their true potential when pushed also go to would be the strongest in the Multiverse including black freezer but I am not gonna get into that

Goku Black's sparking episode could have been cool if it included a couple battles against the other universe fighters. Like a mission where you fight Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale, then a mission where you fight Kefla, then Hit. Then you move on to fighting Rebrianne and the two girls with her. Then you finish up by fighting universe 11's pride troopers for the extinction of mortal life in all universes. One thing that would have made Gohan's what if more fun would have been him going Beast against Gohan Black but since Beast is DLC it couldn't be included. But we all know that Gohan would have gone Beast in that fight the moment Zamasu said he killed Videl and Pan.

I think what have been better is that Ultimate Gohan’s blue bio-electricity turns red and the center of his eyes gains a slight red glow. Kinda like a Beast(Sign) or something. Of course after Gohan Beast comes out, they could always update the story mode and give you the option of Gohan ignoring Goku and unlock Beast.

Like, Goku teleports like normal, because they’ll tell him and Vegeta about Future Trunks, Gohan spars with Future Trunks, and then Gohan Black appears and in a surprise twist, YOU(the player) play as Gohan Black against Goku who insists on fighting him first, to like draw out and build up the inevitable clash between Gohan and Gohan Black. Something like, I don’t know, I was thinking about things like this, that could have potentially made the story better. And then Gohan spars with Present Zamasu in the Universe 10, then when Gohan and Co. go to the future, THEN you can fight Gohan Black against Gohan, in his Ultimate State. Like, Ultimate Gohan reduces/survives against Gohan Black as a win condition, but Gohan Black still wins, due to getting use to his body better from his battle with Goku, who is Gohan’s father, but still can’t unlock Ultimate yet do to not fighting Gohan yet, but is getting there. Gohan and co. Retreat, Gohan learns the Mafuba and just add that he got a Zenkai Boost from getting beaten near death by Black. Other plans can be made to catch Gohan Black off guard, as they jump him, and incapacitate Zamasu. They almost kill Gohan Black, but Zamasu’s surprises everyone with the Kai Kai technique, which he didn’t use before or something, tanking what supposed to be the finishing blow and heals Gohan Black, which pushes him to finally unlock his Ultimate State. Then you can fight as Gohan Black again, but in his Ultimate State, and instead of doing a KI Scythe/KameHameHa combo as his Ultimate, it’s a KI Scythe/Masenko combo. Ultimate Gohan Black whoops everyone as he explains that he’s actually Zamasu, and after winning, Gohan Black reveals that he killed Videl and Pan from his timeline, which would trigger Gohan to tapping into a little of Beast’s power/Beast(Sign) and pushes Gohan Black back.

I feel as though it was an incredibly missed opportunity to segment everyone’s story mode the way they did. They could’ve easily had one big story mode with characters changing throughout and sparking episodes opening up as you progress and beat fights in a specific way. Also the alternate costumes not being accessible is a HUGE fumble. We would’ve loved to have a SSJ Saiyan/Namek arc Vegeta or a Gohan Black playable, especially in custom battles

If there is one I wish for in both the Gohan Black story and Future Trunks entering the Tournament of Power is Future Mai. I would’ve loved to see her interact with Videl in a girl talk as they watch their men spar, as well as her younger counterpart and the Pilaf Gang. And to see more of Trunks x Mai’s relationship as they discussed their plans for the future after following Whis’s advice. I do not care what people saids but Trumai is one my favorite Dragon Ball couples.

thank you I appreciate it really, but I just saw it after u directed me to it and also didnt like it, the voice acting is pretty good, but the dialogues are constantly outside of the ball park of what would had been close to what Toriyama would have come up to a little bit cringe also I am always hoping more to what the Z warrios would have done while waiting for Goku which geekdom skipped altogether, and this last thing is on me but by the conversation Trunks has with Goku it would appear that Goku would start feeling the virus effects during that fight evven if maybe jsut at the end which surfaced way quicker of course thanks to that battles stess. P.D. the way they thought of it seemed like a breeze for Goku

I wonder if Cooler and Bergamo get a what if storyline. Would be nice to have alternate histories like that one Xbox game years ago that had different universes. I would even like to see an Appule what if where he doesn't die on Namek. I am critical on the Goku what if where he fights Vegeta and Nappa. Having not trained with King Kai, Goku would be weaker and have a harder time with them to simply have things turn out in a similar way. It just seems like lazy writing where placement of events and not much else is considered.

And it woulda added a lot to jiren's development to go from "I can be the only winner. And strive above all" to "I respect goku and all the fighters today." Or something like that. Like he'll be less of s cold character and winning would allow him to open up.

Idk if u guys remember the theory a while back but apparently it goes something like jiren represents Buddha and well goku is song wu kong. And in one of the tales song wu kon actually loses his first fight with buddha and gains a lesson in the end.

I think you're sleeping on the majin Vegeta what if, that was easily top 3 for me, I mean seeing Vegeta resist babidi and realize his own strength was honestly a beautiful moment, because for once he really felt like the main character like nah I am the strongest and I need no one to help me prove it, I think it resonates with Vegeta well, so as a what if I think it's awesome and does great work for Vegeta if not top 3 easily top 5.

Yeah I think story was sort of disappointing too. The structure and the way it was handled was just sort of underwhelming and cut the flow of the story a lot, I would’ve preferred a classic bt story structure where you just swapped characters and made fights more close to the original material like the saiyan saga fight against the z warriors, instead of you know, having to change to piccolos episode then switch back to gokus and then vegetas and so on. Really a shame, the slideshows just added more salt to the wound.

Sparking Zero storymode and what-if is decent. I don't have the game but hearing the experience from fans, yeah they could've done better. I found that Vegeta's storymode ends after the Buu Saga! Are you kidding me!? They didn't bother to do the rest after Z and not even more what-ifs like fighting Beerus, defeating Golden Frieza, Hit, Goku Black and Jiren! Also! They should've start with Future Trunks' story in Z and then go straight to Super because they missed more what-ifs. They need to update more content man
