I like how they didn't notice that the cutscenes at the end shows a Super Saiyan 2 Goku model that you can't use. Also the reason Broly didn't show up til the end was that you humbled him in your fight. Only then did he realize the true power of Krillin. And it is now, that the Legendary Super Saiyan trains under him in hopes of one day surpassing him.

One thing I do wish some game company would do eventually is create an actual 3D DBZ video game that retells the anime (bonus points for including OG Dragonball, GT, and/or Super as well) but does it in a way that even somebody who has never seen the anime can follow. Like, including actual cutscenes where the characters discuss the plot (such as Raditz showing up at Kame House or the characters in the hospital talking about heading to Namek). Kinda sorta similar to the Ultimate Ninja Storm games.

jrpludacrous Tenkaichi had the right idea, but they still skipped too much stuff for my liking and had the still annoying tendency to have all the characters stand in one pose during cutscenes instead of actually animating them. Plus, every other scene had the narrator summarize everything that happens, which is annoying. I'm talking about fully recreating the anime's scenes in 3D, including smaller stuff like Goku introducing Gohan to everyone, Bulma and Popo heading to find Kami's ship, Gohan stealing Vegeta's Dragon Ball, showing the gang welcoming Goku back from Yardratt, showing them come together for the Android attack, showing 19 & 20 attacking the city, the wishes at the end of the Cell Saga, Gohan's high school adventures, the beginning of the Budokai there, Buu killing everybody on the lookout, and the occasional cutting back to New Namek when Kid Buu arrives. And as I said, I want them actually animated. Not just crappy narration as everybody goes into the default poses over and over and over again.

I like Broly cuz he's a brutal, relentless monster with essentially the mindset of a child throwing the world's most savage temper tantrum, with a really great concept behind him, being this sort of paragon of a race of crazy, battle-hungry warriors (which Broly definitely is one of, but dialed up to the extreme). I dunno if I'd call him "cool" like others seem to do but he's a ton of fun to watch anyway. Although 3 movies for him, um, might have been pushing it. Eh, I think he's pretty alright.

Y'know on that older episode question of was Krillin ever strong enough to beat Freeza? Like even as he was back on Namek he was capable of slicing Form 2 Freeza's tail off So if he did the Solar Flare and Destructo Disk while as strong as he got in Super or for Androids/Cell training he could probably kill Final Form Freeza. Which is fucking insane but also hilarious and on point per Toriyama's silly sensibilities which I kind of wonder if he what he's always really meant by "Krillin is the strongest human" Because Tien is clearly more powerful, but Krillin could still slice him in half lol

Only games I've played where taunting actually does something is Bayonetta and DMC, since in both those games, the taunt maintains your combo for a couple seconds, and makes enemies more aggressive, so they close distance and you can keep hammering them, or get your face stomped.

The Budokai games and Infinite World also have taunting do something. It lowers the opponents Ki by one bar. And some games have taunts that can do damage, like Smash Bros with one of Luigi's taunts. and I think there is one DBZ game where Trunks' taunt also does damage because he swings his sword around while taunting.

There are quite a few games which have damage taunts. Usually, they even have weird properties, to encourage disrespect - like, Dudley in Street Fighter III tosses a rose that does one point of damage if it connects. And TF2 has a lot of taunts that are straight-up one-hit-kills, but they're also so slow and predictable that you'll pretty much only get them off against totally unaware opponents.
