While it was pretty short lived, this was the first character in Dragon Ball to successfully destroy the entirety of Earth. First he terrorized the world, then he eradicated the entire population, and then finally he blew it up. I still find it a bit terrifying how Goku and Vegeta decided it was a better idea to grab who they could and get the hell out of dodge than try and repel that second energy blast. Some say that the Buu Saga was the laziest, but in my opinion it was definitely the most terrifying.

You have no idea what you're talking about with why Goku and Vegeta didn't rescue their sons/Piccolo, although i agree that the buu arc was an amazing arc. The reason why Goku in the end decided to save Hercule and Dende was because he thought he had time, you gotta remember how big and fast that energy ball from Buu was. For their own safety they placed the boys and Piccolo far away from where the battle with Kid Buu was gonna take place, ontop of that that Goku couldn't concetrate at that point so he couldn't use the instant transmission. He needs to focus on someones energy signature and focus hard in order to go there, that's why when he had Dende and Hercule and the energy ball was getting closer and closer they opted to just get the fuck out of there and Goku thinks to himself when trying "Darn! I can't concetrate!" It was literally that Kibito Kai decided to go to them for the potara earrings that they got out of there in time, otherwise it would've been GG for everyone. Now if you were to say "after the Earth got revived with everyone, why didn't Kibito Kai go there and get Gohan, Goten and Trunks to battle Kid Buu (since Gotenks and especially Gohan at that point were way stronger than Vegeta and could easily wreck Kid Buu) i would agree with you.

While I wholly agree with you, I'm already aware of all that. My point was that Goku and Vegeta decided from the beginning that it would be a better idea to just grab everyone and get the hell out of there, instead of trying to repel the attack at all.

Frieza couldn't even stop Goku's spirit bomb on Namek but he could produce one equal to or greater than it with his pinky as you said. The same can be seen with Buu. He couldn't stop Goku's spirit bomb once Goku's energy returned even though he is more than capable of producing an energy ball just like it.

Honestly i would've wanted Cell more than Frieza, they still had multiple hours, why not throw Cell with Gohan into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and let him be there for a few months, he has Frieza's, Goku's and Vegeta's cells so he could be so strong that he would outclass Frieza and then some. (someone actually did an "what if" on this, fairly interesting honestly)

I would, but he'd made everything so easy. He can absorb folks, regenerate, make clones of himself and heal people. They pretty much had to use Frieza for the top. Unless Future Trunks stuck around in the present, which I wish he did.

Tired of these comments addressing the wrong power scaling when it comes to Kid Buu. Everyone immediately assumes that just because he wasn't a fused being anymore with Piccolo and Gohan being absorbed, that it was levels upon levels weaker. Let me clear the air, that isn't *exactly* the case here. While the power boost definitely nose dived, you also fail to remember that one fat kai's (cant remember his name) influence made buu considerably weaker because he was 100 percent Good and rather powerful himself. Kid Buu's power works like this: Upon losing Gohan and Piccolo, trunks and goten, the power level went down. This is true, however, he is now 100 percent pure evil. This means that his energy will swell and swell the more he kills, the more he fights, the more he inflicts terror. The evil *itself* is what makes him so powerful. Yes without them his power drops a considerable amount, but as the battle went on his powerful grew much stronger than when he originally appeared before them as Kid Buu. You have to remember Goku taking time to specifically state that he was twice as powerful as we was *before*, "your speed, your power". This means that Buu's energy rises as time continues forward. Slowly, but gradually becoming more and more powerful. This was also true with Fat Majin Buu, although it increased at a much slower rate due to Good Kai being absorbed. When he was Gohan, Piccolo and the boys power increase stopped growing due to the combined goodness of every one of them + Good Kai. Kid Buu was twice as dangerous as the other versions of Buu and had zero restriction. Also keep in mind we never seen an actual Powering Up as Kid Buu, just screaming and shaking the earth. Some argue *this* was his powering up, but we will never know that to actually be true. As far as we know, Kid Buu could have had the ability to raise his power level 100x over with a traditional powering up.

I like how despite being one of the weaker forms of Buu, he was the most dangerous because of how unpredictable he was and did what no other villain could do, which is blow up the Earth. Nowhere near as strong as Super Buuhan since Vegito was needed to stop him, while SS3 Goku was roughly equal to Kid Buu and still turned out to be dangerous.
