Really funny to see Krillin eating like a normal human being in comparison to the saiyans. I especially like the contrast between him and Trunks from the clip before, and how Trunks rips all the meat off the bone in a single bite while Krilling has to chow down at the same drumstick(?) without picking up a new one

Well remember that 17 & 18 are technically Cyborgs, or rather just "Enhanced Beings" due to their Bio-mechanical alteration. In JP, they used a term that specified a difference from a typical android iirc, but the translated manga also does mention what they specifically are. The anime (especially the old dub) just further the confusion. That aside, they were made with the intent that they do not need food, but require hydration, so water is their source.; likely a trait picked up from Piccolo and how he functions. But I guess one could argue that in 18's case, she can technically eat if need be, especially since she gave birth.
