I still don't understand why everyone always gets so butthurt about it being Kai and not classic DBZ. Kai isn't some abomination unto the anime community, people. It's literally the exact same story as classic Z, just with fixed animation frames and some re-dubs on lower quality audio tracks, and the whole thing, intro, outro and all, upgraded to HD.

From 2:00 to 3:15, it is a straight copy (with only very little improvisation) of the solo duet played by Herman Li and Sam Totman in the song "Through The Fire And Flames" by British power metal band Dragonforce. This... IS one of the original themes. Dragon Soul was just RECENTLY translated into English and sung by Vic Mignogna (sp.?). I think what you're referring to is the original ENGLISH version DBZ intro composed by Bruce Falconer. While it's a great soundtrack, it is technically the SECOND sound track. So... yeah.

Dor-Al Kryton I just prefer Z over Kai. I just love Z as a anime more than Kai. I don't like the voice acting. I really hate some of the for some characters, like Gohan's for example. I would watch kai if it weren't for some voice acting. I am just so use to the voice acting of Gohan to be Stephanie Nadolny. She was the same voice actor of kid Goku. I am just so use to the original voice actors. I would love to see a English dub of Kai with the original voice actors or similar to the original voice actors. The only voice actor I like in kai is Goku and Krillin.

Kai is the perfect version of DBZ. It is far superior to the original anime in EVERY WAY. There is none of that filler crap which is not in the manga. Plus the dialogue is closer to the original manga. Anyone who hates Kai obviously was never a Dragonball fan to begin with, and only like that crap Faulconer music (which ruined the original dub in my opinion).

Richter Belmont There is a difference between Dragonball Z and Dragon Ball Kai. In Dragon Ball Kai, they cut out a lot of the filler, completely removed blood and rid it of all the words like hell, damn, ass, crap etc.

Shadow's Gaming I own Kai on Blu Ray. They did cut out all of the filler (that's the point), the voice acting has improved a ton. The blood and gore, and even swear words (bastard, damn, etc) and Mr PoPo is black, not blue in Kai. The only edited version is 4kids/other bs programs censored.
