Great review Justin! I don't blame Bandai for the 1.0 Tien sculpt. Infact they did it very accurarte. If we go back and watch the old DBz, we can see Tien was drawn exactly like that and ChiaoTzu was made for that specific scene when he jumped on Nappa's back, maybe its an experiment of Bandai to see whether people really want an articulated version of him since he's kinda small and not very popular nowadays. Overall, i love both versions, they will have their specific place on my shelf, 1.0 for the Saiyan arc and 2.0 for Cell arc.

Excellent; another must have definitive figure of a key DB character; this is one of the essentials (not for completionists), Tien deserves some respect as he was part of the Z gang during the APEX of DBZ: the droids+Cell saga; Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, even Yamtcha. You need the whole gang. And the figure of Chiaotzu is a nice bonus.

Another amazing review bro (and another must have purchase 😅)! Your reviews have been responsible for a huge chunk of my collection update (and a much lighter wallet, and a more annoyed wife 😅) Previously, my collection was based on random findings of childhood nostalgia (to be honest, still one of my favorite ways to collect as it’s akin to a treasure hunt). However, with your videos, I was able to ‘tighten’ up my collection and make it more deliberate -> nostalgia AND ‘inner’ connection/similarity. For example, this figure; while I’m not a huge DBZ fan, this is a must have for me because Tien (with his muscular physique, bald head, disciplined nature, previously cold-hearted/reclusive but now more extroverted and compassionate) reminds me a lot of myself 😁. Additionally, the little dude represents my baby boy! Thanks again Justin for your awesome, informative videos! Possibly my favorite in terms of all boxes checked - 1) content, 2) presentation/branding (love the intro - modernized 80s nostalgia - and would like to know if you commissioned it or made it yourself!?), 3) aesthetics - clean, crisp, wow! 🙌🏽
