Getting things in more logic way - Would Toriyama design character he doesn't like or keep this character so long alive? Nope. Toriyama likes Vegeta, but Dragon Ball is the story about Goku which is Toriyama's favourite character. He promised fans that Vegeta will have his big moment in a movie (probably in the one that's coming with Broly)

After a while, that M on Vegeta's forehead starts to look more and more like a Crown. If Vegeta had ended this scene with something about how his time as Prince was over and that now his time as Emperor Vegeta has come, right after he blows up the Arena the 2nd time; It wouldn't matter how many times he got his ass beat afterwards w/dbz's writer/s, . you know that would've been dope lol -- That's just how I would've done it, use this music, show a little more carnage and blood to have it all impact harder. Vegeta's been w/you since season one, 8 yrs w/o being totally evil, and as a new threat arises that needs to be stopped comes around, out of nowhere, Vegeta goes pure evil again, killing fuk tons of ppl w/a smile on his face. If Vegeta stayed Majin, stayed evil, and buu died in his ball, How badass dbz would've been if it ended everything w/Majin Vegeta being the most ruthless enemy dbz had ever known. Full on tragic w/his family and how they deal with Vegeta killing so many people. Adding the fact that Vegeta knows Goku's fighting style, having replayed it over and over in his head up until that point. Total Blindside without any warning, Vegeta kills families in that arena and the just as the dust clears from the direction of all the screams, Vegeta doesn't break eye contact w/Goku.. he never blinks, and before you realize it, it hits you that Vegeta started this series and now he's going to end it. --No 9th Season, it all ends at 8. - Turn DBZ's fun saturday cartoonish feel it might of had, and turn the last 10-12 episodes into some shit they'd have to show after midnight to ppl on tv, not just scary and gory, but make every kill, one person - on hundred people, make each one feel as a loss you too may feel. & Before it legitimately looks like dbz will end with Vegeta winning, all hopeless==Goku should end up w/the win but I mean only by the skin of his teeth and what it took to beat Vegeta - changes Goku and he is never the same happy person he had always been. Odds are, you'd start watching dbz as a kid and it'll end with you as an adult, you'll like the playful shit dbz did as a kid but you'll appreciate it and understand what's happened and why, you;ll recognize that dbz's actually a story about the Tragedy of a Saiyajin Prince named Vegeta and (I'd add they're actually related) his savage fall, gave into his demons of primal geneocide in dominance and it's defeat from worthless breed. To see what it took out of Goku for him to finally kill Vegeta in the same desert they originally fought in and how his it's like his soul is damn near gone, would make it all hit alot harder. -- That's how serious I'd make the Majin Vegeta threat in the end. - lol idk, but that wouldve been awesome( if you read all that, I'm impressed.)
