Yes its a true bloodstone African bloodstone also known as setonite, seftonite, and Vulcan jasper is a true bloodstone. It comes from Africa, mostly from South Africa. It is greyish green with red spots The more popular bloodstone is called heliotrope..a deep green or bluish green stone with red spots. It usually comes from India, USA, Madagascar or Brazil Both are true bloodstone and has same uses. Bloodstone is sold cheap so manufacturers usually don't make them on lab. Watch out for a few imitation made from glass or plastic, its easy to tell
