@@Pippy_period I heard people say that this plant is bad because it’s overpowered, has bad animation (I think that’s to be expected by this point), and cannot hit flying zombies despite it being a lobbing plant.

You're meant to pair this with Shadow Peashooter. Place the peashooters in the back so they don't hide, and the dragon in the front so if they ever die they spawn babies. Also, zombies will be slowed and poisoned by attacks.

I mean dusk lobber is better at crowd control. Dusk lobber, when it’s not powered up does more raw damage and it’s throwing charge is faster then brute force damage. If it’s for stronger health zombies in large groups then I feel like brute is stronger than the lobber

I don't think this is a bad plant, it's the effects that sucks. It sounds really weak, and the projectiles pops out of nowhere. That being said, could you try the Plant food on the smaller one next time, I wanna see if it regrow into the big one

I feel like it would’ve been better as as a multilane fire breather. Instead of shooting pitaya spit, it’d act as a normal snap dragon like creature, costing 425 sun and having a slowish recharge (it would be halfway down at the start of the game). When powered through shadow power its fire breath would extend down and up by 1 tile (meaning placement in the middle will cover 5 lanes) Upon death it would still split into smaller dragons and the dragons will fire the pitaya spit like the ones in the video. It would also emit a heat because its a dragon. Plant food without it being powered will create a similar power up to snap dragon, but if powered it would fire a piercing laser beam straight through the lain it was placed it. and the fire breath would be stronger and a little faster. This would be balanced as it would be very expensive, rely on a moon flower (or gloom shroom and nectaraine) to be at its full potential and have a super slow recharge but make up for it by being the strongest dragon plant and possibly reiterate the conceal mint family into Pvz 2’s meta. This would maintain the dragon plants’ reputation of being breathers. (And the fire would be pink unpowered but then magenta as powered).

The last plant of the Conceal-mint family we got was the Nocturine which was 2 YEARS AGO. I’d say the problem with this plant is that it’s just so slow and there just way better alternatives in the family over Dragon Bruit. Edit: Also I’d like to say that the animation and lack of sounds is really KILLING this plant for me

The only issues with this new plant is that not only it fires pretty slowly but it doesn’t boost up the Moonflowers which i hope it gets fixed because it’s a new shadow plant after all and doesn’t target the Snorkel zombies underwater unless they get splash damaged.

so its a threepeater but it has the lobing of a cabbage pult and it also has a shadow form for some reason? And in that shadow form it also poisons the zombies like a goo pea. Also when it dies it has a splitting effect like cherry bomb from pvz2c.
