it's amusing to see how many of the dragon's attacks are exclusively threatening to the players, but hardly hurt other enemies, either due to weird hitboxes or simply damage output. Fortissax's deathblight storm (it barely tickles the enemies, also doesn't cause deathblight), the regular dragons' stomps and wing swipes... Also, the ancient dragons have a boatload of stance, and it resets super fast. It's very hard to knock them down.

I seriously wish they make Dragon boss fights more challenging and make their attacking patterns more diverse/complicated. Feels like they wasted many potentials in ER. Hope they improve it further in DLC or ER 2.

You know, in comparison I believe the Dragons of Elden Ring are not designed very well in their behaviour In previous games there were many technical limitations but at least many of the previous dragons in the games managed to pull off an aura of power In this game, while some of them may have some interesting abilities, most of these are often awkward in their execution, their wind up times are extremely long, their reach negligible and their poise is awful they take forever to turn around and most of their abilities still cannot accommodate for things standing underneath them And they keep wanting to make you believe that these things are made from stone

@@JohnSparrow2005 I have seen your replies and think it should be a seperate comment. The most diverse army could be Rykards. With recusants, iron virgins, man serpents, omenkillers, taniths knight, magma wyrm, and the godskin noble from the church there is much potential. I also just don't want Malenia to carry her army all by herself. That's why I don't want demi gods.

Leyndell soldiers and knights, gargoyle, erdtree avatar, tree sentinels, draconic tree sentinel, both Margit forms, golden Godfrey, the nights cavalry as they are led by Margit, oracle envois and let's say Morgott also forces the omen from the sewers to fight for him. I want to see them fight against Rykards army, as they canonically have beef going on.

U chosen some wrong enemies to fight the dragons , their attacks were meant to hit someone the size of a player , infact most of the fights ended up with the dragons skippin directly to Astel without even having a proper fight before
