Great job, Paul! That dragonfruit looked tasty! Great idea with the keyboard vac to collect the pollen too 👍

Hello, thanks for your comment. I am in a similar climate, I live in Southern Australia and in my hemisphere the southern part of Australia is much colder than the north. I am 2300 miles south from Darwin. Good luck for your growing 👍

@@garyhowery1981 Hi: I live in Oakland CA. I recently cut off lots branches (filled a very big recycle bin). When the branches grow back, then I could give you some. No money needed. Fresno would be a excellent place to grew Dragon fruit. If you have a big yard, you could grow lot of fruits.

Fantastic Paul! Your video is a reminder for me to pot up my dragon fruit - just have to figure out a trellis.
@UrbanBounty

Once they take off they are such a productive plant. Both my trellis are completely opposite design but same results. As long as you give them something to droop over, you'll be right!!

Hi Brett, yes even here I am not a fan of the store bought ones. I think they pick them in Thailand green and ship them here. They'll never have the same sugar hit as a mango but very refreshing

@@Treegrower thank you mate, I tried a few different ways. The Aussie gold in the video is in a round raised bed, 70cm or 28 inches in diameter and open to the ground and that variety I actually grafted onto a tall Vietnamese white to save on waiting time. The other varieties against the wall are in big 160 litre or 42 gallon pots. Thanks for watching 👍

What soil do you use? I need to repot my cuttings and people seem to use all sorts of things. I did buy cactus mix after seeing thst suggested but not sure if i need to add anything to it.
@UrbanBounty

Premium potting mix will be fine, the main thing is the soil needs to be raised. I put my raised bed ontop of another raised bed to be absolutely sure. Gravity helps to keep the roots free of rot
