Dragon Guan Yin Subsiding the Flood | Ven. Abbess Master Miao Jing | 騎龍觀音救水難 八七水災 觀音顯靈

This is one of the most famous Guan Yin manifestation stories, Dragon Guan Yin subsiding the flood. Guan Yin Bodhisattva is always responding to the calling of beings in suffering. During the flood of 1959 in Taiwan, there was a legend that Guan Yin Bodhisattva was riding a dragon and subsiding the flood. As stated in the Universal Gate Chapter of the Lotus Sutra, through chanting the name of Guan Yin, all sufferings can be eliminated. This is the teaching given by Ven. Abbess Master Miao Jing.
