I like the changes to the conclusion part of the segment also. I also like inclusion of the score since sometimes I'm unsure how Sam feels about a game with his many caveats. Thanks for the reviews.

Is there a way to play with only 2, 3 or 4 actions only instead of 8? Maybe that speed up the game?

Format is good for review with following caveats. Too much reflection on Sam's glasses. The word CONS being red in color blends to much into the brick background. Maybe Hex color EDE137 for a cautionary yellow.

Jonathan Rafael Colón If you haven't, I would give the Around the World versions of Carcassonne a try...Gold Rush, Amazonas, and South Seas.

I've played the Dragon and Princess and I really don't ever want to play Carcassonne any other way after playing Dragon and princess. It's that fantastic!

If you want to learn this game watching this video is absolutely imperative. Pretty complex game play and not party friendly to teach new people. If you love dragons this game will make you angry.

It seems way too fiddly for what the game is, for example the rule of needing specific colors of cubes depending on surrounding tiles AND a discount if you are on your own color. And that is only one portion. It feels like there's a lot to slog through, and it doesn't seem like the core of the game supports it.
