My though for Dragon Khan: Beyond breathtaking overall! In fact, the first part is inspired by Kraken at Sea World Orlando. For the most part, the majority of the ride is so much fun to ride on it. On top of that, words cannot describe how beyond breathtaking it is for the overall experience Dragon Khan! Because of that, I'd love to ride Dragon Khan in the future. :-)

This is one of the most intense coasters I've ever ridden-I think eight of these 1990s B&M inversions is just a little too much for me! I had to sit down for quite a while after getting off it. Far more powerful than Shambhala, though Shambhala is the *better* ride.

I had a panic attack on top of the lift hill. I truly felt we weren't suspended anymore. I closed my eyes and held my breath for the drop, I only started enjoying it inside the first loop. Man that was scary but lots of fun. It's been forever, and I really want to get the chance to tame my fear of large drops.
@MattMcIrvin Жыл бұрын
Dragon Khan is kind of unusual for a B&M looper in that the first drop into the loop is straight. I do like that. But if you want to face and tame your fear of large drops... there's a coaster right on top of this one that has a real doozy... (And is actually a gentler ride than Dragon Khan!)

Honestly, it doesn't. The Smiler has a much more exciting layout with more near misses, better theming, rapid transitions, 2 strong ejector moments, fun inversions and it packs a lot more than DK into such a small footprint. It also has better operations than DK, which I heard only runs 1 train most of the time, whereas the Smiler runs about 2-4 trains. Sure, Dragon Khan may have a height and speed advantage and may be more smooth and intense, but the Smiler is much more unique and dare I say crazier than Khan
@JonathanJimbo Жыл бұрын
@@matthewsouthwell9653Having ridden both I believe I preferred the smiler. I thought the smiler was smoother actually and was more interesting. The smiler had some rough parts but Dragon Khan felt rough the entire way through (worse than furious baco, although I believe I sat in an inner seat for that one). It probably doesn't help Dragon Khan's case that Shambhala is right next to it which I found way more thrilling (and smooth).

So what is the best coaster then I bet no one can decide but I know that America have the best coasters, 1 question does the American parks have hight limits coz in the UK we do what I think is bullshit???
@hellobro-f4l9 жыл бұрын
Yes
@tommycarr81119 жыл бұрын
Some parks in America have height limits, such as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, but the problem over here is that the two biggest parks (Thorpe and Alton) both have height limits, Alton Towers being the tree line (60ft) and Thrope has a height limit of about 210ft because of the nearby airport. Pleasure Beach can build anything up to the height of the Tower 518ft. The problem is that every other park in the UK can't afford big coasters anyway.

Did anyone see the pictures of Alton towers I think yesterday how empty it was they said there was about 7 cars in the car park, I think that Alton towers are going under now all because of a company that makes rides dangerous and what pissed me off is how they have closed saw the ride when saw has never ever had a bad accident we'll not when I've been working there anyway
@summerreyes45319 жыл бұрын
As a friend of someone who was injured on that ride,you have to understand that incidents like what happened 'matter' to people here in the UK.We're not willing to put our family members on any ride there,when we have lost trust in their rides. Americans just seem to brush these things aside,but us English take a little more convincing that their rides can be trusted again. People lost their legs on their ride,they didn't break a nail!!!
