You can feel the cold radiating from the bench marra . When you can capture an atmosphere with no diorama you know you've done a proper job . Regards Gav.

I'm not worthy of such kind comments my friend. Coming from an artist like yourself that means a lot. Many thanks my friend. Look after yourself mate and speak soon. P.S. Will you be at Telford this year? It would be nice to meet up if you are.

Hi Steve. The winter camo is absolutely realistic. But what I like so much is the extreme level of attention you put on painting the details so adding a touch of life to the entire model.

Hi LZ. You are spot on with your observations. The world around us is full of colour and I try and incorporate that in my builds to add that touch of realism. Many thanks for your kind comments. Take care my friend and happy modelling.

A very interesting video Steve. The half track is looking superb. You get excellent results from your acrylic washes, especially as you're only diluting with water - no retarder or flow enhancer. Also dry brushing acrylics is not without it's difficulties but again your work is impressive. Layering effects is definitely the way to go. Take care and happy mogglin.

Hi Pauly. I hope you are well my friend. Smoke is one of my go to washes to blend all the colours together. The other is Burnt Umber but that has more of a red tint which is ideal for some wood and exhausts. Take care and many thanks for your kind words

Great to hear from you Any. What are you working on at the moment? The shaky hands comes and goes and adds another level of complexity to the painting process.
