Instead of radically changing the enemy types, drastically changing the environment to actually reflect the horrible changes that actually happened, they just gave their eyes a different color. I know that the enemy PLACEMENT changes after that one particular event, and yeah SOME enemies are new, but overall, nothing really changes. And then they did it AGAIN!

The eye colour changes to signify that enemies got stronger after certain story threshold. Almost each new area has new monsters, only the ones in revisited locations get recoloured eyes after some story points.
