Thanks, don't know how I would've beat him without the sleep trick. On the last turn got everyone to 100 tension but only needed one more hit. Dungeon was a nice challenge, got my butt whooped by a few of the bosses lol

Jilly Chan He's in the post game dungeon. The outfits are full King Metal Slime gear, mandarin dress, which is a mini medal reward, and butler's best which is the reward for beating monster arena x. The place is located in a secret dungeon located in the cave near Marta's cottage after you beat the Dragovian Trials and ask for the ultimate training grounds.

Dianne Renard He is a boss originating from dragon quest 4. He was put to sleep and a bunch of bad guys wanted to awaken him. He also appears in dragon quest 5 and in dragon quest heroes I believe

Dianne Renard Estark is kinda like the Gilgamesh of Dragon Quest. He shows up in multiple games as a superboss.

He was a boss in dq4 but in that game he was called Psaro, The Manslayer and he turned into a weird green thing after a certain amount of damage

Not quite, Psaro was someone else entirely in DQ4. Estark was the sleeping king of demons who used the power of evolution to become incredibly powerful, and you fight him when he's accidentally unearthed. Psaro later uses the same Power of Evolution to transform into a form similar to Estark, before transforming further into his better known green demon form. DQ5 started the trend of Estark appearing in other games. DQ5 is in the same continuity as 4 and also has Estark as the sleeping king of demons who's incredibly powerful, there he appears as the optional bonus boss. That's what Estark has been for the entire run of Dragon Quest honestly, an immensely powerful demon sleeping in some forgotten corner of the world. His dialogue when you wake him up here is a callback to his appearance in DQ5 even.

He’s pretty easy as long as you can get him to sleep. My last playthough beat him on my first try. I always have way more trouble with evil Jessica and doulmingus’s first form a lot of these boss fights in this gauntlet comes down to luck and RNG, i beat evil Jessica when she only Called for help once the entire battle

I mean DQ4 makes it a plot point that the party beats him before he really wakes up because he'd be too strong to fight head on at full power. Later games just follow up by having him in his proper strength as the Super Boss.
