DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS: Chapter 2 Town Layout

This was the final draft of my Chapter 2 town before I went on to Chapter 3.
I built this village in the air after seeing how some mobs destroyed blocks. It is not as "pretty" as some of my other chapters.

Amazing! I like how complex the design for your base is, the way the rooms connect and the variety of them and how you cleanse a big part of Rimuldar's lake, I'ts simpressive! It sounds crazy but it almost made me feel like if I was inside of some sort of flying machine, I'm almost done with Chapter 1, this new land seems interesting.

With this set up there was never any damage. Every one of my builds is set up for minimal or no damage, though chapter 3 was harder since the trolls could still get through sometimes. The only difference with chapter 2 was that I had to bring the ballista down to the flag floor for the final boss. And yeah, I immediately forgot about the gap lol

Very cool. I can't be bothered to do anything like this, I much prefer the convenience of spreading everything on even ground. But I do enjoy looking at other people's builds immensely. :)

This was more built for protection than style, which is why it looks so much different than my other bases. The original idea was a "spiral" town, but that didn't work out lol

Wow, you had a lot of free time. Building this must take time. You didn't completed the chapter in the minmal time to get the bonus do you? I'm targeting a perfect game with all bonuses. This is a nice build though!

Yeah I didn't really care for the time bonuses. I tend to build more for purpose and design. If you look at my other chapter towns, you will see that I spent waaaaay too much time beautifying them, lol. Like, 10s of extras of hours each.

Well... I'm playing on teh Vita but I have a cheat that resets time to 1 day for those who wants to take time to build but I'm doing the game like normal actually.

Yeah but didn't it say the rooms had to be at ground level in the base boundaries to count as rooms towards the base? Only one block higher than ground level?

Mine always worked. Rooms count as long as they are in the boundaries, from top to bottom.

No, they just have to be within the same x/y axes to be considered in your base. You can build up or down. The requirements for all rooms are these: 1) Must be a walled-in area, with a door, and at least two squares in height; 2) Must be self-contained, and have no interior walls that break it up; and 3) Must contain the requisite items in their appropriate quantities to earn the rooms designation and corresponding points. Also, no part of any potential room, not even a single square, can be outside of the lit base zone.

Hello i have a question m curious where did u get the all 4 Bath tub ?

Uuum, it has been a while, but I know in chapter 1, you can get bathtubs from killing the big block monsters, the ones that look like chalk blocks, also the internet says small golems drop them. Villagers will also make them if you make a Treasury room, like I showed early in this video.

Uh, it has been a long time. You will have to be more specific which blocks you mean.

@@ZonUniverse man, I wish I could tell you, but it has been so long that I don't remember, and Google isn't being helpful in searching. I do think that it was a limited supply, though, with no infinite recipe like other chapters, thus why I only used it for the bottom, meaning that I probably stole it from a fortress or something.

They drop frim those blocks that come to life. They drop about 3 per kill for me

@@neilricardo7940 the block slimes in portal 1 blue portal, they look like normal blocks of mountain rock or dirt but are oddly placed smack it and itll come to life kill it collect glass windows, why they carry them idk

Haha, thanks. I don't think this one is THAT good. It didn't turn out as I had first imagined it: a sort of spiraling tower town, and my initial idea made problems for the camera, so I had to go with what you see now.

Jesus Morales Oh, lol. Yeah, I spent about 65hrs per chapter. But to be fair, I have far more than that on Zelda: BotW (165), Starbound (900), NMS (250), etc.
