DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS: Chapter 3 Town Layout

This was the final draft of my Chapter 3 town before I went on to Chapter 4.
For this chapter, I went with taller walls around/over doorways to give the buildings a sort of cut-away feel. I think it made them look more like whole, complete buildings than just the two block high walls.

This looks awesome! Looks like you get access to so many different materials in this chapter. I just started chapter 3. I must be the only person that builds upwards. I build ground level as a battle grounds then build my floors up. Chapter 2 I built a castle so high that I hit the max height and couldn't build up any more.

I built upward in chapter 2 and 4, but only to avoid specific enemies. I didn't build up in the rest of the game because the camera has a really hard time with enclosed spaces.

I think you need walls and lights to keep the ghosts out. The enemies I am referring to are ones that destroy walls made of dirt and stone. Stronger materials like obsidian protect against them, but not every chapter has a method with which to obtain obsidian.

Justine Ruiz those ghosts are annoying. Just kill them right away. Or sleep through the night. I usually just skip all nights.

How do you gather rocks

You mean decorative rocks? It has been a while since I played, but I think that they drop from the fake stone block monsters. Those guys drop several decorative items throughout the chapters, like windows, bathtubs, small stone and pumice, etc.
