Conqueror of Cantlin - Awarded for completing every challenge in the Cantlin chapter [GOLD]
To get this trophy, you have to complete all challenges of the chapter one, Cantlin. Keep in mind, this trophy is a bit missable because you need to complete the chapter within a limited time. So if you fail this challenge, you'll have to play again from the beginning of the chapter or use a previous save. There's a timeline in the video's description.
General information about challenges
- The display of the challenges will be available after you complete the respective chapter.
- There is no an in-game indicator that show you the challenges have been completed. The only way is to finish the chapter by using the big portal.
- I highly recommend you to create a manual save after you defeat the final boss of the chapter.

A trick to easily defeat the dragons without taking any damages, once you got the fire breathing statues, just place them near the dragon and wait for it to die. In chapter 2, you can use the arbalest to defeat the one which guard the flower. For the 20 days finish challenge, I suggest that before you got put the banner right at the beginning of the game, you start farming what you need, and even start constructing the town. You can even deliver Rollo before the mission was asked.

It's kind of funny but I actually beat this in actually 20 days thanks to this vid, I couldn't believe it. It probably helped that in the beginning I set up my town as much as I could before doing the quests for the little girl in the beginning. Because I think time doesn't really move until you do the inn tutorial.

lvl 5 is easier, just build all the rooms for the quests once and for all the residents a 2x3 personal room (straw bed, pot, sign, scone torch). Fix them up with a 10p wall and floor and your town should be around lvl 4 with less then 50% to go. Just build an extra room with a lot of decorations and you're done. Works with all chapters :)

For those who are struggling in building/making the Cantlin Garden, here is what you should do: 1. Find a MEDIUM tree. 2. Follow the steps in the video and put a door. IDK why it worked but hey, it is what it is. Happy to help!

for any one playing dq builders1 in 2019 and (still) cant get the cantlin garden to register, here's why : water needs to be exacly 10 blocks - the tree HAS TO GROW 2x(sleep 2/4x) - the door has to be wooden and on groundlevel not touching water.

Also I just checked, turns out, in the Switch version of the game, the “Complete The Chapter In 20 Days” was replaced with “Collect 150 Different Types of Items”

Ahh ok, now I understand your message. Well, when I was making the video, I thought that the most of players would have troubles with the other challenges (The garden or the dragon locations) because you can save anytime, reload the save and finish the main objectives quickly. Maybe I can make some videos about how to beat the final bosses.

Alright, :) I just had little trouble to speed up because (of course) we had no idea what kind of challenges does each chapter offer until we beat it for first time, and i hate "beat the target time" goals like that, so i was not so sure if i would able to act pretty faster to collect materials and beat story-battles faster enough without taking a lot of damage-hits without taking sleep for heal-instantly... so yeah, =X

The challenge time is a bit exaggerated, it can be done in about 3 hours easily within 10 days. I did a stream on it and during it I even died, it's not super strict, just as long as you don't spend your night times sleeping. Also during the beginning of the chapter time doesn't pass, so there's a good long period that can be spent gathering materials including feathers for Chimera Wings (or whatever they're called). You could spend parts of days getting materials and still have plenty of time left, just don't focus too hard on building your town for the quests, dirt walls and random furniture work just fine. (i.e gold chests everywhere/pots and sconces)

Hello, thanks for the guide! One thing I wonder though, in the results, it says "Days to Complete: 45" but the challenge checks for completing it within 20 {?}

Yeah, I added aditional information on the video description. I completed the chapter within 20 days first, then I loaded a previous save and complete the other challenes, that is why it says 45 days. Remember, you need to finish the chapter in order to get the trophy because it's the only way to validate the challenges.

Hello. Did you make the garden layout with a guide (I did) or is there a quest or hints that we are supposed to find in-game? I haven't found anyone explaining how they found this blueprint.

No, there is no a blueprint of this. But there is a side-quest where some NPCs teach you about gardens.

Well, each chapter has its own save set. So while you have a save of that chapter, you can go back any time to any chapter and complete the challenges.

So if say I didn't complete the chapter within 20 days and went on to beat the game I can go back on the same save file to that chapter and redo the 20 day challenge? Or do I have to start a new save file?

You'll have to start a new save file, unless your previous save files are under 20 days and can be completed under 20 days. It should really only take like 10 days to do, so it's not that big a deal. I did it in about 3 hours.

I can't get the damn Cantlin garden, I've done it five time in five different places, with like 15 flowers, 10 water blocks, 10 plants and the plummberry tree, the bench, the wooden door and the brazier, what am I doing wrong?

Did you build a 3 block wall? Check out your previous rooms, maybe you buildt it.

Yeah. Play the chapter 1, complete all other challenges and finish the chapter (you can complete them even if you dont see the challenge screen). Then start the chapter 1 from the beginning and complete it within 20 days.

@@factor747 i made the cantlin garden outside of base it sayd the name but when i moved it to base( underground because of waterlevel,but with open roof/hole in ground)and now all i get is the botanical garden.i have 10blocks of waterfilled hole 1 deep,4 medicinal shrub 1 stalwort 2yellow;2red and 6white flowers 1 bracier 1 bench 2walldeco.still nothing?it does count as a room when i remove everything.
