Dragon Quest Builders: First Boss - Giant Golem

This is the first big boss fight in the game. You have to defend your first town from the Dragonlord's minion the Giant Golem!
To win you need to create bombs and destroy the golems in the desert. They will give you a block that can be used to make portable walls. With a lot of bombs and walls you can block the Giant Golem's attacks and set the bombs down at his feet when he gets tired.
This is the Chinese version sold in Taiwan (勇者鬥惡龍　創世小玩家)

Actually for the Giant Golem, I harvested a bunch of obsidian(strong mallet and the spin attack), rebuilt the outside walls and then the Golem's rock didn't do any damage at all. Oh, another thing, if you don't talk to Pippa much at the beginning, you can save a lot of resources. She triggers the night/day changes and also hunger. I built my castle walls and a lot of the interior without sleeping once and never used any food. Yes, you eventually have to talk to her, but it does help to have the biggest job done first.

I've also replaced my walls with Obsidian and extra spikes around my castle, just getting the materials and making the warhammer takes time making it but i have not given up, usually I give up on games like this but nope, I'm loving it so far.

If you want to finish the chapter in less than 20 days or 20 you’ll need to focus on the main quests only, you can’t go in the caves and do stuff.

Honestly when I get to this boss I'm gonna probably have those barricades (the ones that stop the boulders) surrounding the entire town already. And I already strip mined the hammerhead village for copper so I could mass produce spikes solely so that any monster that comes within a 20 block radius of cantlin (the city) fucking dies

I didn't add any music, it's just the song that plays when the boss comes out. Most likely a classic boss song from the DQ series since they always use the same music.

its the battle theme from Dragon Quest 5 i think. Its also used in Fortune Street for some reason. iirc this game has no original music. still love it though Edit: i was wrong, its from Dragon Quest 4.

NNnnnope. Sucks. Well I guess you can reload that level 1 save, but there will be nothing to do there. The levels are all totally separate save files.
