28:34 Hong Meiling is in fact a youkai, though the games don't say what kind so far as I'm aware (fans speculate that she's maybe a dragon?). Her Ability is "the usage of Qi." The only "human" in the Scarlet Devil Mansion is Sakuya, supposedly.

Sakuya, who has been serving Remillia longer than anyone else at the mansion. Admittedly she also has admitted to using time powers to stop her own aging.

The side quest continues! 0:00 - 0:09 - This town's music theme was changed a bit from the previous remakes. 8:39 - 8:59 - I remember running into a Shade that hit one of my characters for over half their HP. I ran from that battle immediately. 12:42 - 12:56 - I love when I get the equipment I was planning to buy from the item spots(I had this happen with the Iron Apron). 17:02 - 18:23 - That reminds me, I haven't used any of mine. I should do that soon. 18:34 - 21:11 - The queen here is such a "delightful" person. 27:45 - 27:48 - For some reason, I originally thought Zara got that crit. 32:30 - 33:07 - I didn't know that for a little while.

God damn it, Ogre. I didn't want to know about the poison swamp thing. Though on the other hand, my guess is that Miyazaki may not have been interested in making games if not for DQ 3 existing (complete cope take) so I can pretend like it's still for the best. Tofu is going for the pure "cream of the crop" type build. The Macho Man would be proud. When you said musk, I immediately had to think of King Kai talking about his "natural musk" in DBZ Abridged. I can't remember half my old classmates, but TFS is rooted so deeply in my memory that it isn't even funny... Meiling has some of the prettiest bullet patterns in the series, even if EoSD is really outdated by now and I like PCB, IN, MoF and TD better.

Whelp, I'm down to the last of the se of 6 macguffins. I had to lean into the special powers of high luck to take out one of the bosses. Honestly, I think it's time to simply grind levels and come back to this as a set of sages, being able to actually do damage is probably better. It's honestly getting pretty whacky trying to herd my gadabouts. Sure the random dancing now actually causes a buff but they're just as likely to insult eachother and both lose a turn from it.
