Yay! Another dragon quest video! Hope the jury duty has been going ok for ya! A majority of the monsters don’t require you to use anything to recruit them, just so you don’t burn through all your musk!

Thanks for the new video in your current situation, you really are a professional! Originally Blasto sent the party members to Patty's place and we had to go and pick them up which was really annoying... Yes, Hotto in 11 IS a reference to Jipang, the theme, the story about the sacrifice (although it's a bit different here), all come from this game. Also I noticed that they put some original islands existing in the real world to this version. Although Sri Lanka was there in the original too, but had no any item on it, and Easter Island near South America is completely new to this version.

Mage, when you mentioned Australia and spiders, I had this wonderful mental image I just have to share... Someone pointing at a large spider in a zoo, going "Look at the size of it"... and Paul Hogan sidles up, shouts "That's not a spider!" and pulls (out of his bag) a spider to size of a stray cat. 😂 Bloody terrifying thought... yet hilarious.

in San Diego they send a 90 day notice for jury duty. One of the times I went. There was a guy who wore a t-shirt that stated " hangem hangem high, I don't care if jay-walked hangem ". The judge made him go home & change or face contempt of court .

xD This popped up in my feed.. *22* minutes after upload! 2:45 I actually have experienced some comfy rugs over the years, while traveling around and visiting family during holidays or moving. Love Hott- er, Jipang! The story here is fun and I found it a bit challenging. Also, if you do change someone to Monster Wrangler, they can learn some really neat and very handy abilities! Hope jury duty isn't too bad! Loving the LP :)

In the GBC and mobile port for Switch, that Recovery Ring was actually a Prayer Ring and the only one you could find in the game. Ah, old man Roshi voice from Mage is one of the best. In my nuzlocke on Xbox i actually rolled for just about everything and had a Martial Artist that made me think of Roshi though his random name is Rizox and is now a Merchant as his final vocation that i rolled first on if i would change him and then rolled to what he would be.

Blasto (or whatever it was called in the earlier version, I think it was called Limbo) was so stupid. Because you would have to go back to the tavern to get back your party member. The only good thing was the Hero was immune to it until you beat the game.

Oh, I really hated when monsters used it! Especially a particular one you can't avoid. Funny that it existed in 8 too, but only affected the monster team.

In the original version of Jipang, they didn't speak in Haikus. The sacrifice and everything else is all the same. Love the haikus.
