The Japanese exclusive Dragon Warrior/Quest 3 was pretty good and had elements that were added to it that I'm wondering if they were reintroduced into this version. Some of the changes to the interior of the buildings and towns can be more comparable to this version.

There are absolutely a lot of improvements that originated in the SFC version and were passed on to the GBC and mobile versions, but those are blown out of the water by this full remake (it blows away the reveal trailer, as that featured a much smaller overworld).

@@drunkhusband6257some people don't want any remakes at all i am not in that group i would love an hd 2s remake of final fantasy 6.why do some people not want any change they act as if any change will ruin the original that is a genuine question. i would love a final fantasy 6 remake done in this way. the original was and still is great but it would be good to get it done with better graphics and voice acting.

Yeah no. A link to the past already looked way better than the original 3 dragon quest games, it would just need a different kind of remake.

@@drunkhusband6257 Of course it looked better than those. They were on the NES while ALTTP was on SNES. But NOTHING on the SNES or Genesis looked anything like how the Dragon Quest REMAKE look NOW. Look at how detailed and vibrant the backgrounds are. No 2D overhead RPGs looked anything like that until Ys Origin came out in 2006. They can just make Link's sprite look more detailed and more like the official art work.

@AndreasRunge999 that's what I'm afraid of. That style is fine for Links Awakening and Echoes but it wouldn't really work for Alttp. ALBW doesn't look like that.

This is the American NES version of the game, the japanese famicom version is different. Im recorded all the footage in this video and not used any gameboy footage, only nes and switch.

​@@Dragonmist19X I'll simplify it. New graphic style and content. First not enough for remake. Second just content pack dlc. Look on FF7 remake and DQ 3 remake. Why is the combat system the same? Why is the leveling the same? Why are the dialog boxes the same? RPG mechanics? I'v played RE2 remake and its played so fresh! And DQ3 remake its the same game like 30 years old. But in my region it costs more than any remake of any game, and by a lot. WHY?! This new bosses and enemies don't change the game. I wanna new modern game-design and mechanics. Just content and graphic don't change the game.

dragon quest 3 looks better than the original at the same time it remains true to the orignal with some added classes that does not harm the game play.they did a very good job on this remake imo.
