Dragon beard’s candy originated in China and was served as dessert for the Chinese emperor hundreds of years ago. It was later spread to Korea and also became a dessert for the Korean emperor. The candy has been around for centuries in both China and Korea. I think it’s more appropriate to call it a “traditional” than downgrading it as simply a “street food”. It represents history and culture 😌
