Afro if you're on PC you need to turn off the ray tracing etc. It crashes games, the game is still great without it because your setup it just will make the game over load. The new patch they did automatically turns it on so if you turn it off it will run perfect. Thumb up so he can see this

I ran the game with no difference between Raytracing on and off it’s cpu issues and if ur newer card isn’t as optimised. Other than that it comes down to some odd luck. The performance issues are so jank and inconsistent amongst people

Hey just some tips Griffins (aka the eagle bird thing) are weak against fire attack them enough with fire and it burns their wings while dragons are weak to ice. When you climb on an enemy you should try to just target the head so you can stun them to do some good dmg. For dragons just keep attacking their head until their heart opens up which then you can target the heart until they get stunned to deal big dmg. Another tip when enemy’s are stunned you can pull like an execution on them such as when a cyclops gets knock down an heavy attack near their head to do big dmg same with the griffin and for the dragon do a heavy attack near the heart for big dmg. Just so you know, you can take items to regain your stamina while you’re mid-climbing an enemy. Hold the ability bumper and press the down arrow or you can go in your inventory. That’s how I survived riding a Griffin and taking it out of the air

I think last generation is holding the W for this one release in general. I'm on PC, 5800X/3070Ti, nothing crazy at this point. I've had exactly one crash, and stay at 90-140 FPS in the field, and 30-60 in town. I've heard nothing but horror stories from people with newer hardware.

I think people have false impression that the game runs better on consoles since the upper limit of fps is generally low so there is less perceived variance of fps compared to high-end PC setups where the game runs at high fps except in the city.

Hey Afro! You can use the Spearhand's default triangle weapon skill (the one that makes little magic orbs fly out) when doing literally any other move! So it can be used to just add on extra damage. Redoubling Bolt, your RT ability can be charged one stage to slow enemies and another stage to really slow them down. Works great on big foes as well. Pressing jump or maybe your melee button after hitting an enemy with Redoubling Bolt teleports you to them. You also get a move that gives you and all nearby allies an invincible shield for a brief time. Also try to cling to another Griffin like that if you can, it takes you someplace with some really great items. As a tip, make sure to craft some Stamina recovery items so you can cling to foes longer. Just be sure to open your inventory and use them when you need to. Sorry you are having so many issues with performance. I have been playing on Ps5 for around 80 hours and have had zero crashes or bugs.

i run a 13th gen i7 and a rtx 3080ti and back then when my computer case had 5 fans (not counting the two on my cpu cooler and gpu fans) the fps was 40-55/ cpu utilization 85-95% on task manager with DLSS on and performance mode (3440x1440 resolution). After upgrading to a NZXT case and jumping from 5 case fans to 10, suddenly the fps jumped to 70-80 and CPU utilization 55-60%. This game is very cpu intensive because my graphics card was sitting at 40% the entire time, not being used to its fullest potential.

mystick spear is a bit of a slow start, but once you unlock the circle shield, youre defenses will be good and you wont get interrupted as much. some of its abilities are fun but a little gimmicky. its ultimate ability is pretty sick. and for the little bolt you fire, you have to hold RB to charge it up and once you shoot it you can press it again once it hits to do a little stun on enemies, or if you press A right when your charged up bolt hits, you teleport.

I feel like youre missing out on the major story quests which is making you just think theyre buns. Did you do all the quests the brant gave you? Those are main story quests and alot of interesting things happen between each one. You can even get some cheeks during one of them, buy a house so you dont gotta keep sleeping at the inn, and when finished the final story quest for his arc guides you into the next city. If you have done all these quests and still think the story sucks then idk what to say.

Just some helpful tips, You can pause mid combat to use potions and craft. Griffins are weak to fire but electric damage to the face does concussive damage for everything. Ice freezes and when an enemy is wet it freezes faster. Hope this helps

When you are on the back of a griffin and flies away if stay on its back between its wings you can release your grab to regen stamina and you will not fly off. The griffin may start accelerating towards the ground and at time I would grab again to make sure you don't fall. Just repeat that and it will take you to some good loot.

Something that I found out while playing dragons dogma was that on griffins you can get onto their backs by grabbing and then press the grab button again to un-grab. This allows you to stand on the back, if your careful you can attack while standing preventing you from losing stamina

Just so you know, if you are in-between the shoulder blades like that while the griffin is flying you can let go and let your stamina regen. You just need to make sure you grab onto it again when it starts to rise or descend so the angle doesn't throw you off its back.

Griffin's weakness is fire, and it's head and neck is its crit. Mystic Spearhand becomes one of the strongest in the game later. Using right bumper is a small bolt, but charging it for a few seconds allows it to slow and paralyze enemies. Also, when climbing on an enemy, if you get on their back or something level on their body, tap the climb button again to stand up. You'll stay on them but won't lose stamina. Easier to throw you off though.

AFRO! for the mystic spearhand it does much more damage if an enemy is staggered and you use the heavy attack(the one with the projectile) thats what you want to use your magic missiles for: just pressing rb does a bolt that only makes a target kind flinch, but when you hold rb, you charge it, and the target is slowed and staggered by a good amount, use the heavy attack and you will do a critical, you can also charge the bolt while you are swinging your spear so you dont need to pause to charge it (and dont use the ability where you summon the mini orbs that shi ahh)

To teleport you have to charge Redouted Bolt "RB" when it is fully charged you have to hit "A" the moment it makes contact with the enemy and you will teleport to them, no stamina used. Also while you are fighting you can charge the bolt with no stamina used and It is a stun. You also have a bubble that will protect all your allies for a short time, you can stay in the fight for a long time if you get the timing right.

Each class gives you different stats each level up. Then every 4 to 5 lvls you receive a huge increase in one of the stats. (Depends on the class) Play warrior to increase Strength more and archer for stamina then swap to Thief. You will do more Damage. Also there's a guard armor set in that tunnel at the beginning. Put it on to talk to the magistrate without getting attacked.

Here’s a tip for you afro. If you manage to climb any large monster on their back and let go, you will stay on top of it and it will stop consuming stamina and be able to attack a lot faster with your weapon

The gryphon’s weakness is fire, yes you can get dragon armor and weapons. P.S: as you level up and get stronger, your stats increase differently depending on your vocation. So if you want your character built a certain way, make sure you’re not spending too much or too little time in one vocation in order to optimize your stats, as obviously it takes more xp to level up the more you progress which makes it harder to get stats you want later if you haven’t been maintaining it before.

Stick with mystic spearhand. Its crazy crazy leveled up. Also, at the end when you ran out of stam and died, when youre on the griffins back (or any large creature) you can press the let go button and youll just stand there and get stam back. Assuming youre in a place you wont lose your balance. Also you can use basic attacks and still gain stam. Love the videos man keep it up.

For mystic spearhand the main skills you want are Mirour Vesture(the shield you got in the herpes dragon fight) and Thef's hond (a stamina stealing skill) those 2 skills make you virtually invincible when used right. Also for the teleport thing, you gotta press A as soon as you hit them with the RB ability.

you need to go to nexus mods and grab the Frame generation mod, the devs have it disabled in the game, but the mod forces it on and gives you 60+ frames, in towns im getting 100 fps instead of 30 & open world im getting 160+ with the mod turned on.

Mystic spearhand can be useful both in range and melee, by immediately pressing x (on ps5) after releasing your r1 (right bumper) power on a target to dash right to them (you can also grab onto flying enemies once you dashed to them with this) You can let go when directly on top of a large enemy to do regular melee attacks that are much faster than regular stabs when gripping on them.

Hey Afro, tip: you can actually 'release' your grab from a big enemy to sustain your stamina, your character will stand or crouch on the back, in this situation, of the grif. You'll regain your stamina as if you're on the ground. Love the vids! ❤
