Dragon's Dogma - Dark Arisen - Cheap fast kill of Daimon's two forms

A rather cheap and very easy way to defeat Bitterblack Isle's final boss Daimon's two forms.
The second form only appear after you beaten Daimon once and return to fight him again.
With a more optimized version of the strategy you can probably do it notably faster than I do here.
Blast Arrows can be bought in Gran Soren at Camellia's Apothecary for ~650G an arrow.

This is an effective way. Once you get some gear though you can kill him as fast as under a minute. BOTH forms in under a minute.This is achievable without blast arrows.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’m level 133, using 4 of the conqueror talismans over and over after they wear off, and brought 898 blast arrows (10-arrow shots with ranger) and can only get the 2nd form to about half health before I run out of absolutely everything…on easy difficulty. This isn’t fun. I want that cape, though. 😞 all my pawns are over-encumbered on the way to this guy, too. so we run slow as shit. This is on my 2nd playthru, too. EDT: I TRIED AGAIN AND IT WORKED! So weird, it must’ve been a glitch.

I don't really remember the specifics but i used something like gold fraeme blades, adhesion, oppurtunism, clout, autonomy (and some other shit i guess, it was some time ago i played as such) for really good grapple and like +60% str while on a boss+ 4 conquerers prepiats and hundred kisses (probably because i don't remember having the 1.000 smooches ring) killed first form before the music really kicked in, second not long after. So i would recommend using blast arrows on death and just shanking everyone else.

Yeah, I know. You can stack up to 4 of them at a time I think. This wasn't really any serious speed kill attempt anyway. Strategy more optimized with a Ranger and you down to like 45sec :p

Blast arrows spamming works, but the heavy burden is not worth it. Stacking 4 Conqueror's Periapt + normal arrow is far more efficient.

you can also climb on his head and hit him till he's dead, works specially well with a warrior+a few periapts at least on the first phase.

Go ranger to have tenfold arrow, then use 4 conquers and blast arrows, kill him much much faster

You think that's silly? It took me 47 minutes with my lvl 120 mystic knight, because I had a suboptimal loadout for him. The most effective damage dealing option I had was perfect blocking his spells... It was painful!

Man, I thought this guy's second form was fucking impossible until I found that sweet spot. Right under his belly on his left leg. Grab it and spank it. If you have thousand kisses, go to town on him. His half-the-map-double-hippie-love grab bullshit can't reach you and if you have barbed nails you can stagger him before he casts any spells(not that they can hit you anyways).

I tried this and only got two of his life bars down. I chose a fighter as my main and after getting to level 100 I decided to do the other vocations. I have a feeling that's why I can't do what you do. It took me an hour to beat his second form I would've beaten him sooner had he not decided to do that Goddamn move where he sucks you and your pawns in and instant kills you. I had him at one health bar away from dying and he decides to do that move and I had no stamina. Oh I was a little upset :/ But I'm gonna be a ranger now so maybe it will be a tad easier for me next time I fight him.

Ranger is best option for this strat, its multi arrow shot have more arrows than assassin one. Just bring insane amount of explosive arrows :p Good Luck.

Thanks. But honestly it isn't Daimon that gets me it's the trip there, My pawns always get destroyed in the city. It's always been two dragon's spamming lightning and those damn eliminators. Tho I can petrify them I can't carry all my arrows and normally my pawns get killed making me lose my arrows. But I'm learning as I go and now I have dragon's glaze which is helpful.

yeah see not all of us hav fully upgraded weapons cause i used about 1027 blast arrows and he still had 4 health bars left but by time i ran out of arrows can’t even touch his life i’m like lvl 127, and he’s in the air so the pawns jst circle around him and occasionally jump on him but they get thrown off straight away,

Well, to be absolutely honest with you... After using like 10 blast arrows you could have already guessed it wouldn't work and that maybe something wasn't right with your pawns and/or build. Why use all 1027 of them??? Just a few tips: I killed him in his awakened form at level 51 the first time as an assassin. All my pawns where striders. All I did was using a simple dragonforged (just kill the bishop and his dragon) rusted bow with normal arrows, to apply torpor and thus keeping him slowed down for the entirety of phase one while my pawns either shot at or clinged onto him. I didn't even do much damage. All I did was support my team. When he showed his second form I just used single shot blast arrows at his head to perma stun him. Sometimes you can't stun him for a couple of seconds and he goes after you. Just run around and wait till he is done chasing you and casting spells and continue shooting him.

I've luckily killed the "first" form of Daimon by dodging his pattern of attacks and by using curatives and by attacking him in a perfect timing manner basicly folks, I just hope and pray that my level "200" male Arisen Warrior can somehow kill the "second" form of Daimon later on today!

You can stack 4 conquerors periapts, if you do this your strength will be quadrupled. Also his weakness is holy magic.

Sry I no follow. You don't need especially high level to follow this strategy. You just need a lot of explosive arrows and assassin or ranger class levelled so you have the multi arrow shots. Some buff items and good gear help but it's not really necessary.

You can beat him even faster actually, and without 200 levels, as an assassin you just cling to his chest and use hundred kisses (you can pop 4 conqueror's periapts at once since they stack). While on his chest most of his moves miss you and you take him down in seconds

Yeah the periapt buffs are overpowered but fun and hundred kisses is the only skill in the game that you can use when clinging to an enemy :P this makes me want to go back and play again though

Hard mode should be just as easy if you are maxed out. A maxed out Assassin still hits harder than any maxed out character of any other class. Assassins have the highest strength growth in the game. Even higher than Warriors.

Assassin levelled Ranger with Tenfold bolts does wayyy more damage than the Assassin itself.

This is the true easy way: Ranger tenfold flurry + a LOT of blast arrows and a few stamina curatives and of curse ten Conqueror's Periapt. I hope it helped more than the video did :)
