Dragon's Dogma - From a Different Sky 39 and 40.avi

Made this for a friend but some other people might be interested in these ones too.
Both of them can ONLY be found during the quest Deny Salvation and one of them (nr 40) can only be picked up DURING the boss battle against the two Wights on the rooftop.
The sound in the recording was totally off sync for some reason so I just muted it, you'll have to do with just the music :p

jeeze only capcom could come up with such a stupid pre-locked in quest requirement for a DLC quest. now i have to wait till NG+ to do this.

Just taking the weapon off would be enough I guess, at the time of the video I was pretty high lvl and in NG+? I just wanted to be certain I had no stupid screw up :p Pretty certain pawns don't gain knowledge unless they are really there so if you want/need the knowledge stars for it you need it with you.

Aww. I will have to wait until the next time around as I didn't try to get this until after the cave in/collapse. I'm fairly certain that it is impossible after the dragon destroys this fort...right? Thank you for this!! ~Jeff~

do you really have to kill your pawn? i mean would taking their weapon off from them helps? usually without weapon they don't attack and just run around. do you still get 3 stars in you pawn quest knowlegde if you kill them?

So they not accidentally kill the boss before I picked up badge 40. if boss dies it can not be picked up until next playthrough. If I remember correct I could just have unequipped their weapon but went for better safe than sorry.

how on earth did you work that out? amazing,I would never have found it for a start,nor would I have worked out not to let pawns kill the boss.....do you know the game makers or something?

I was searching for them when doing an NG+ run on one of my PSN accounts. Some other guy had made youtube vids of all but these two already. There was info about that these two could only be found during this quest and boss fight so I started searching. This char was at a rather high level with a very well equipped pawn so he could kill main quest bosses on his own at this point and this boss fight end with the instant destruction of the area so wanted make damn sure that this did not trigger as game autosaves progress a lot. When I did the filming I had already found them on another account so I knew where to look when filming, I actually played this game to platinum on two different PSN accounts :p

I have accepted the Deny Salvation quest and killed the Chimera,yet the pawn guild doesn't give me the quest so that the badges spawn. I am playing Dark Arisen btw.

Could be you need clear out some the previous quests in this series before new one can spawn. Very long time time since I played this game so I don't really remember how it worked. :p

Wariyaka Yeah it turns out that i didn't do the previous ones and you actually need to do all the 38 previous ones....jesus christ.....thanks for saving me a headache

Thank you for this. I got this crappy quest through Dark Arisen. There is no way I would have bought this. Ah well there goes those two as I have passed Deny Salvation yonks ago. I just hope not getting those doesn't prevent me from getting more out. Only Crapcom could come up with this.
