Just an fyi the skill blade of the pyre, deals dmg to you that much is right. But it's not a coincidence that you get this skill along with formless feint, if you use this skill before you use pyre you will deal great dmg get the fire element on your weapons and not get any dmg. Had to share it since no one is really talking about it and only mentioning the negative of getting set on fire.

@@Gaming_Analytic it 2 skill. formless feint dodge everything and pyreblast which explode dealing significant dmg to u and your surrounding. but if u combine those 2 skill, formless feint can dodge pyreblast self ignition so u take no dmg and can repeatedly use the skill.

The smoke screen isn't just an evasive maneuver and I would consider it essential for doing damage. If you use smoke screen, you will be able to instantly kill enemies with your twin fangs core ability.

Your twin fang ability does very heavy damage, usually killing foes in one blow as an assassination skill if the enemy's health is low enough, but the enemy has to be staggered, knocked down, not in a fighting stance / unaware of you, or you can even jump onto them command the case of enemies like goblins, and hit the ability as you're jumping over them to trigger it. The smoke bomb puts them in that unaware state come up because they can't see where you are exactly so the smoke bomb is a great way to clear out a group of enemies quickly with minimal stamina loss. Also, if you use the rope attack to pull them towards you and immediately use twin fangs you'll also assassinate them. Give it a try!

Yeah used it a lot when playing thief. In my opion one of the strongest abilties for thief especialy for multiple targets would rank it much higher

using both meister skills is the best - the invincibility one makes it so you take no damage from the fire one and the fire one chunks healthbars down

Just to let people know Verve only adds +30 strength to your character. By mid to endgame you'll be around 500 to 1000 strength in all physical builds. Therefore the augment doesn't even give a 5% increase in most cases. Augments such as vigor, subtlety or gratification are generally better because they're adding onto things that can't be affected by gear that much outside of some rings, and we only get two slots for those so there's a need to be picky. As far as I know the only straight stat increase augments worth taking are the fighter and mage's lvl 2's as they enhance physical defence and magic defence by 30% respectively.

For my preferred aggressive play style? Thief is just wrecking them, and not just monsters, but big ones, and not just one but two, because another drops in before finishing the first. Like the flying drop kick Gorilla and a Minotaur drops in. I don't even need to try the other vocs, the mobility is crucial for me.

Good video. Draw and Quarter does a crazy about of damage with the archer augment that gives you more damage on weak spots, I took half the dragon's health with 1. Also definitely got to include both miester skills they are cracked

I have to disagree a bit about Plunder. My pawn often gets wakestone shards and ferry stones with it.

Plunder is a godsend on a pawn, they actively steal items, i got wakestone shards from goblin and ferrystones on saurian Money are also common

Pawn AI is a bit crappy to play Thief well though... At least that's my experience.

He also failed to mention that the main use of the smoke screen is to allow you to install targets. My arison and main pawn are both thieves and when we both used these skills in tandem, it's a fucking massacre.

I've tried Thief for multiple hours, I must say.. easy S Tier 🤣. My dps with Thief is absolutely crazy. And the Miester ability to dodge every single attack is cracked, I assume it's gonna get a nerf for sure.

it's actually insane. it also has one of the easiest prereqs too. you can get the meister skill before you even get to vertmund. not to mention thief also having helm splitter, ensnare, enkindled blades... you can literally run 4 thief's and not have any issues at all

Should I mention countless of thousand of solo story games that get nerfs and buffs all the time specially after release lol On a serious note tho, I don't want it nerfed, As I'm one of those that if they find something too OP I simply don't use it/use it depending on my mood, I like the choice, if You want something op? Use it. You don't? Don't. But if they do nerf it it'll be understandable, as it's making other classes look like a joke due to how you can't die with Thief with that ability aswel as having extreme damage.
