I was taken aback by this song because the game is largely a traditional medieval fantasy setting with music to go along with it, but then you suddenly start hearing an electric guitar and kind of sounds like a badass version of hotel lobby music with the piano. It reminds of something I'd hear in a late 90s/early 2000s dreamcast game, which makes it really nostalgic. I love when they add music like that to a game it doesn't quite match with, but in the right amounts it's awesome.

It's a shame that with Dragon's Dogma 2 (at least in the demo) they didn't nail it with the OST like this. The feeling and the sensation of a legendary big grand aventure starting is unmatched in this. I hope the rest of the OST manages to capture at least half of the greatness from the 1st one.

A lot of people overreacting with the DD2 character creation theme. This one here is the most unique one you will ever hear in a video game and it won't come back. Instead of already nagging about the soundtrack, maybe wait for the game release first. DD2 will be overall a bigger game and that means more opportunities for good music.

@@Daddyugh10 The things people are complaining about are performance and the microtransactions. The first is justified, in cities and towns there's fps drops, but besides that it's been over 60 fps for me, and i have the minimum required CPU, so personally hasn't affected my enjoyment, except for the main city fps, which is terrible. The mtx complaints are totally overblown, since you get the items in game easily as you play, and some stuff like people saying that fast travel is only possible if you pay with real money, and it's literally not even true, the ferrystones you need for fast travel aren't even part of those things that are sold. The mtx is bad, obviously, but if you play the game for a few hours, you'll see that getting those items is a joke.
