Whether Dragons were real or not, they are a big part of history and culture.

Dragons are more than myth. They're a symbol of pride, ferocity, freedom, and death. Bringers of fire and renewal, they are seen as either conquerors or saviors, but are neither. They are dragons, free and never to submit.

This is without a doubt the best dragon tribute I've seen. The only thing that would've made it better imo would be the inclusion of dragons from Skyrim and Dragon Age. Great work, great voice!

@FlashBranson275 жыл бұрын
@@jonathanakersreed3142 actually, after finding the movie the scene came from, I discovered that this isn't an ordinary dragon she's kissing. It's actually a man capable of turning into a dragon, and on top of that, the movie appeared to be a "beauty and the beast" type of story.

Whoa! :O Beautiful! :D Excellent use of footage of multiple dragons from across film and TV, edited together well with the song's lyrics! x) Interesting effect speeding up that epic shot of Smaug bursting out of Erebor at 4:40! :) (P.S. the shot of Smaug's epic death throes at 4:29 worked realy well with that point in the song!! :)) I'm not a fan of Ed Sheeran's 'I See Fire' cover at all - certainly not as the song for a character like Smaug - but I adore the beautiful, artistic, melancholic piece you've created here with the multiple dragon clips - that one in that dark vault defending that dead smaller dragon from humans, and the expressions of the dragon with the maiden in white at 1:16. x) (Note to self, I've gotta go find the film/show that last one is from!) :) Also, is it true that that's you singing it here again?! :O :D Seriously, I'm not a fan of Ed Sheeran's cover as I said, but this brings such beauty and emotion into the song that makes it much more appreciable! I do feel that this sung version holds much more emotion, atmosphere and power in it than Ed Sheeran's vocals, which I think are overrated - this version really is beautiful! :) So, you're a talented writer, a great drawer, AND a brilliant singer! :D I don't suppose you'll next turn out to be a wicked dancer? :) Bee-autiful, awesome vid!! :)
@donovan94567 жыл бұрын
D. B. wow, thank you so much for all this amazing feedback. I'm actually humbled and speechless right now! I'm so happy you enjoyed not only my rendition of the song, but also the video itself. And you totally need to check out that Russian film! I don't know if there is am English sub version officially yet, but even though I don't speak a word of Russian, the visual story telling was so great that I was still able to understand everything that was happening. And sadly, no, I can't dance. I have been frequently told I'm "wooden, and have no sense of rhythm" soooooo.... :P

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! That dragon is from the movie "Oh-Apakoh" a Russian film I highly recommend. Even though I do not speak a word of Russian, the visual storytelling was so well done that I wasn't lost for a minute, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The dragon is actually the romantic male lead, Arman, in a "Beauty-and-the-Beast" retelling that I think any dragon-fan should watch. If you would rather it be in English, I know there is an English subtitled version somewhere on the internet. And I believe (though don't quote me) that there is a dub somewhere as well.

Panagiotis Kostas Theoktistou Hollowed be my name Considering she has no reason to repent to someone who thinks their own name is nothing but a huge gap, I advise that you go back to your hollow church and rethink your life. Blaming this talented singer and writer for your own emptiness is both pathetic and hilarious. I truly hope this is some parody account, otherwise: you may need to do some reevaluating of your life and beliefs. Because so far, I only see a lot of empty words with no meaning behind them. FYI: it’s “Hallowed.” But I think Hollow defines your comment in a lot of ways.
