Lani, not sure if you'll see this, but I want to echo what I wrote in a letter way back when DBZA ended with the Cell Saga. YYHA was something I looked forward to watching whenever they came out. I was in a dark place in my life circa 2007 with my mom having passed away in 2005 and I was in state of depression. I loved every episode and laughed so hard with it all. I am glad to see you successful and enjoying what you do, and I look forward to see what you do in the future. Also, you are right. Kuwabara is the best.

As someone who writes professionally, I cringe the same way at my early chicken scratchings as Lani and Kaiser do to their early stuff. But I imagine that's true of virtually every person who works in a creative field--painting, music, photography, etc. And if it wasn't for our cringe-inducing early works, we wouldn't be where we are today. I remember being happy AF when (like six years ago) I found out about the _Lupin the 3rd_ abridged series, even though I wasn't always able to get all of the dialogues (because sometimes they were just too fast, and English is not my first language; also, Scott wasn't enunciation wasn't quite clear). It was great. Then I came back looking for the episodes last year, and they were all goddamn gone. What I mean to say with this is "Thanks, guys, for bringing _Lupin the 3rd: The Abridged Series_ back, even if it's just one episode.

I've never independently listened to the Tenacious D song, but as soon as the guitar riff at the start of YYH Abridged started playing, I immediately started singing along. I'm surprised that it came back to me instantly lol. Glad to see how far you've come since we were both so much younger.

I have such good memories of Yuyu abridged. I remember being ticked off that cartoon network cancelled it, so I went online to try and find a way to watch it. "Huh, what's this abridged thing? Oh! Mabybe its just highlights from episodes. Yeah, that might hold me over." :D That glamour photo joke still gets me every time, I can't help but quote it when I pull out the blu rays.
