Aside from that all that with all he’s been through in his time, he doesn’t fuck around and tries to end fights instead of playing with enemies. That’s why he ended Both Androids and Cell in one episode when he went back to the future.

Trunks is one of the few dragon ball characters who I can actually label a hero because he does not fuck around and put other people in jeopardy. He tries to accomplish the objective and doesn't let pride overcome him, you can tell that he doesn't like fighting and has anxiety over what these monsters are capable of. I really like his dialogue in this version too, telling 18 to leave or blow herself up and not caring which is fantastic.

Part of it is that 18 is recognising how brave and good Krillin is, something a lot of the other characters rarely recognise, including Krillin himself.

what also makes this cute is how Krillin is attracted to 18, not her obvious physical features but her confidence and more non sexual features like her eyes. Hell when they went over the blue prints he wasn't even expecting anything sexual happening ever with her and was still into her. When he found out it was possible, the 9 became a 10/10. Krillins take on 18 is what really brings out the character in her. Turns her from a Ruthless robot into a thing you grew to care about in the show. It’s also cool that 16 is actually trying to protect her as like a brother. The other Z fighters have protected her mainly bcuz they don’t want Cell to get stronger but 16 and Kurillin protect her bcuz they genuinely like her. This series and the TFS version makes for a great story and really shows how empty and disconnected Super is. The Android and Cell saga do great at tugging at your emotions.

Where I understand the desicion to stop making this series, I sincerely wish we could have at least got the Buu saga. You guys rock and I must say I rewatch this series at least once every two months so it's still relevant to us.

You know, it's actually cute that despite the cynical tone of the show, they kept the relationship between Krillin and C-18 pretty genuine, while still making it more humorous. It could have been easy to make C-18 pretty condescending of Krillin and then having her getting her circuits reprogrammed (or some stuff like that) so she could like him, but I'm glad they didn't go that road. What I'm saying, it's that C-18 and Krillin here are pretty adorable, and I guess Krillin isn't getting owned on this one.

+Ryan Evans I'll take your word for it.^^ I haven't actually watched or read that part of the actual show. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of DBZ to begin with, so I've come to enjoy the abridged series on its own terms. I do think this has a legit adaptation though, rather than just a parody.
