Lmao, Goku's brother is Raditz. Vegeta and Goku aren't directly related outside of being the same race, but when the number of Saiyans can be counted on your hands, I guess it isn't a stretch to call them distant cousins

I love the joke so much that Vegeta's whole obsession with being a Super Saiyan and "You're not dealing with the average Saiyan warrior anymore!" completely stems from the little Saiyans in the past seing Bardock pronounce himself as such and jumping to the conclusion "Yay, we're all Super Saiyans!"

Goku older brother is Raditz who was killed by goku and piccolo and for vegeta his younger brother Tarble was sent off planet waay before the destruction due to him not being a fighter but he’s alive still.

to be fair, for people who never seen the OG series , Z, GT or super..... it can get very confusing very fast. goku, turles and bardock all look alike and then there is vegeta, vegeta and vegeta as in the king, the prince and the planet.
