No it's not from Super. It was an OVA called "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans." It was originally made in the 90's with the classic dbz animation but then it was reanimated, shortened, and put into the video game "Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2" as bonus unlockable content to watch. It has never had an official English dub. The guy that is supposed to be Santa in this is actually a Tsufuru-jin/Tuffle which is the alien race the saiyans had a civil war with on planet plant.

If you're curious, the video is from a video game. Specifically Raging Blast 2. The game itself came with an "Episode" called: "The Plan to Eradicate Saiyans". I might've gotten the title wrong though.

Well the one on Raging blast 2 was a remaster named "Plan to eradicate the super saiyans" the original was a choose your own adventure type of thing (that was the one named Plan to eradicate the saiyans) which was based of a japanese NES game

Hey Airier. When Trunks says to Vegeta: "You're looking uncharacteristically wistful." I'm pretty sure that is a reference to the Cartoon Network mini-series Over the Garden Wall. It ran for 12 episodes between Halloween and Thanksgiving, and featured the voices of Elijah Wood, Christopher Lloyd, and John Cleese. It is really good, and I would recommend checking it out if you haven't.

He plays two different characters in two different episodes. The first one is obviously him, the second one will probably be obvious to you like it was to me, because we are Monty Python fanatics and we know his voices. He isn't a main character for the series, but the whole thing is awesome. Very weird, fun, and really well written. Sort of Gravity Falls meets an Isekai anime. Once you find it, you could easily watch the whole thing in one night.

This movie came with Raging Blast 2, as a special movie called "A Plan to Eradicate Super Saiyans". This movie has an interesting history, since it's a remastered movie from an old OVA(much longer, worse in so many ways), and that OVA was adapted from a "Choose your own Adventure" game. The movie only exists in the sub, for some reason. The only dubbed thing from the the movie is it's villain Hatchiyak in Raging Blast 2, and he only says "Saiyan" or "Saiyans". The original story is simple : a Tuffle scientist, Dr Lychee, wants revenge on the Saiyans for taking over Planet Plant(after the invasion, Planet Vegeta) and killing all the Tuffles. His plan is to create a machine that contains every spirit that has a grudge against the Saiyans, creating the big red monster himself - Hatchiyak. I like the movie, and I think it's actually worth watching. P. S. I was surprised when you said that you aren't caught up with Super. And yes, the joke was a jab at a later arc in Super. Won't spoil it, so you can watch it. Great reaction as always.

In the original OVA there were 3 optional endings, all of which included Hatchiyak's defeat. The first one is this one where they all combined their blasts The second was Hatchiyak transforming into Super Hatchiyak and Goku defeats him with a Spirit Bomb And the third option was Hatchiyak increasing his size to that of a Great Ape and Goku flew inside him and destroyed from the inside with a Kamehameha to his core

I'm pretty sure the OG "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans" was a stand up arcade fighter in the late 80s or early 90s and had it's own specially animated cut scenes. If it hasn’t been said already, pretty much all of Super is Goku being a danger to the planet/universe. That series really made me like him a lot less. He either caused the problems or made them worse.

Maybe, but on the other hand, but it also brought a lot more to the side characters that usually get passed over. One of my favorite moments is still Krillin back during the Resurrection F arc.

A different and FAR more powerful Future Trunks from a different timeline shows up in Dragon Ball Super which would explain why Frieza is unable to land a single hit on him in his undamaged final form (this Future Trunks is terrifying)

The anime looks like dbs, but it's just remake of old ova (like nes era old), so it's cell games timeline trunks. Frieza can't match trunks because at 90's power levels were still a thing and frieza was reduced to just pushover. That's why he literally exploded from gohan's one punch in gogeta movie.

Actually, I actually liked how DBS handled the Battle of the Gods and Resurrection f movies. The slower Pace really helped. in Battle of the Gods it seems like they were trying to cram too much in, and this year is it felt like the right sort of pacing. That, and the Super Saiyan God reveal was suitably epic in the series. I can't say how it Compares between the series and Resurrection F too much though. I never watched the original movie prior to the series.

SSG Goku and Beerus were "breaking" the universe during their fight, granted it was purely fan service for DBZtards after Bleach characters were shown putting cracks in reality when battling in Bankai/Resurrection Form and 5th Dimensional level Ichigo was redirecting 4th Dimensional level Aizen's attacks remodeling Soul Society's landscape, then after the 18 moth timeskip all Shinigami were capable of fightin Aizen (according to Renji).
