Actually, Goku has it right. Proper training includes plenty of rest time. The best athletes/bodybuilders/martial artists/etc all do this. Train hard, but give your body time to rest. Your body NEEDS rest.

You wanna know why vegeta had such a short part where his power spiked with this bad ass music? because it was made to be a special master piece in every way, specifically for the fans, I swear vegeta is my favorite character of all time, REPLACING GOHAN!, he used to be one of my favorites during the cell saga, I was obsessed! now the tables has turned, like seriously though people, When vegeta unleashed this kind of fury, this became revolutionary for years to come, i was thinking "oh shit, this is it!" after bills did what he did. GodofSaiyans Not a cheater he says. He WAS equal with Krillin in Namek saga. Got his ass kicked, then suddenly was able to fight againts frieza's 2nd form. Because of his anger he transformed into super saiyan two. SSJ2 cant be achieved with anger, anger is needed for SSJ. Was weak as sh1t in Buu saga, even Vegeta without the help of Babidi was stronger than him. Aaaaand got a super powerup from Elder Kai and thanks to that he became even Stronger than Gotenks SSJ3 by far. Now Vegeta and so does Goku is a cheater as well... and both cheats ended in Frieza saga. Goku is far more talented than Vegeta, so it makes sense Gohan has even more talent, but that doesnt freakin mean he should be able to skip entire power levels and be far stronger than the MAIN character.

This moment showed something we don't get to see enough of with Vegeta, the thing is it's not that he doesn't have any hidden power, it's just that he doesn't get into many situations that bring it out like Goku and Gohan do. The reason Vegeta was so awesome in this moment is that we were seeing the fruits of his training (cos let's face it, Vegeta trains harder than anyone) mixed with the deep emotional jolt of seeing a loved one harmed.

It's a shame the art direction pales in comparison to early 90's DBZ on a 'good' day(the 3rd more detailed artist, or lets say the look in Fusion reborn) I think most anime these days art work looks too plastic, minimalistic and less organic than it used to.

***** Yeah, I loved the designs for Beerus, Whis, and Super Saiyan God (though I may get some hate on that one). But the animation definitely could have been better. Most of the fighting could have been miles better, too. The first part of Goku vs Beerus before the cave was GT levels of boring, honestly. I liked the little spar in the city, but once they left, it was just Goku getting kicked around. I don't have an issue with the villain kicking ass, but it wasn't really made to look impressive at all like some of the fights in Z were.

Ethan Hensley Y'knew the 08/15 Goku transforms and beats the shit out of everyone is just too mainstream but seeing a Saiyan who deserves spotlight more then Goku powering his SSJ2 higher then SSJ3 is more badass and that even without the long-ass haircut. And Vegeta is just pure unadulterated badass.

It doesn't matter what caused vegeta's anger, but at max potential, a ssj 2 vegeta was stronger than an angry ssj 3 goku. Imagine if vegeta was a ssj 3. 2. I hate to bring up GT, but when ssj 4 goku was fighting syn shenron, he was powerless until he got a big power boost. For vegeta and goku to fuse, their power must be equal. When vegeta transformed to a ssj 4, he was just as strong as goku even after goku gained a power boost. Meaning vegeta is naturally stronger than goku. 3. MASSIVE SPOILERS DONT READ IF U DONT WANT TO KNOW! In the dbz revival of f movie, goku fights the new Frieza and LOSES. That's right, your precious MC gets overpowered by Frieza as a ssj God. Yet when vegeta(now a ssj God as well) fights the new Frieza, he kicks his ass without trying. So who is stronger now? I'd like to think vegeta is. VEGETA FTW!

Gradually increasing g's over a very long time. (Bit by bit, month by month, this way you hardly notice the increase.) Start with weighted clothes first though. From 5lbs, ending after 3 years at 360lbs. Triple your body weight, adding very very gradually based on an intensive schedule. Yeah no, just because he had a momentary badass explosion of rage/power doesn't mean he's stronger. This is just like when Gohan went berserk after witnessing someone get critically hurt and going all monster power on the offender, this is just a one-time burst of power. He cannot keep this up; all he did was channel all his energy into a short, extreme moment and use it all up in one go. And guess what? It didn't do shit on Beerus. He was surprised and taken aback by this but did it do anything more than Goku did? No, he just scoffed it off like it was nothing. Goku is still the stronger of the two, period.
