Why is Patroclus defeated in Achilles's section?

Achilles resets his rotation and becomes enraged (nuke deals 4000% damage instead of 640%) when Patroclus dies so it's sometimes better to kill Achilles late, after he completes three half-rotations and one full rotation if you can afford to tank that many Termination nukes
