Yeah as far as I’m concerned this DragonForce broke up. ZP left but the core of the band stayed together for a while but once Dave left and then Vadim and finally Fred it became obvious that the current DragonForce might as well be considered a whole new band. The only 2 left from this era which was only 12 years ago are Herman and Sam

@@BemLHH0856 Sam is just spamming his arpeggios as the harmony. Yeah, Herman's part is really close to the original. But, I don't think they were using guitar playback at that time if it's only for certain parts of the song. I'm pretty sure they started using the playback in 2012 at Sam's last solo on Through the Fire and Flames. And Herman started using that in Download 2013 as the harmony for Sam's last solo.

Funny you should say that, while the band was still playing downtuned, ZP was singing up (sharp) like it's standard tuning, that's why it sounds good. Only after Heroes of Our Time though.

@@TerminatorZXY I come back to these shows frequently: Meanfiddler, Bristol most certainly and this Sapporro show! Odd you say that Zippy was singing in sharp after Heroes, haven't noticed, going through another round and hear any significant change. But I am confident this is the best downtuned era show. This show was around 2 months after I saw them in Europe with my father. I just really love the STM/Iceman in this show, given, I really enjoy his guitar and sound. I have also heard some bad shows in Japan too, might I add, they butchered a few shows on the Inhuman Rampage tour both before and after the infamous Graspop incident. I miss the Ultra Beatdown tour still to this day. Cant get too carried away on Nostalgia, haha. Soo and too many memories with Power Quest and DragonForce... can go on and on, don't mind me. Meeting Sam in 2013 singing old school Neverworld songs. Take care man; or this post gets too nostalgic and long. :-D

@@TerminatorZXY My father is a big fan of Zippy. (the reason he loves DragonForce). He says ZP was DragonForce. He still listens to Twilight Dementia in Album Tuning. But hes a busy businessman. But rocker at heart. 2008-2014 was a great time. The stories man. The shows were just inhumane rampage.
