tbf is isnt... if you play that fast you can missplay a note or two and as long as you just continue as if nothing has happened noone but hardcore fans and coinniseurs of this particular kind of music will notice... play slow and everyone in the audience will hear if you missplay a note... i know a few ppl that have played guitar and drums for years now and all say that playing slowly is harder than playing faster (i myself have no clue since i am so bad at music that it almost led me to fail 6th and 7th grade in my youth xD) as for composing: metal is an easier genre to compose (not counting lyrics)... just to clarify: nothing of all this is EASY i am just saying EASIER...
