This album has so much sentimental meaning to me. Not in the words but in the overall feeling I get listening to it, the point in my life it came out, and who got it for me. If you are interested enough to want to know, here it is. I had been so excited about Reaching Into Infinity that I listened to Judgement Day six times in a single school day. It was the first DragonForce album to be released since I had become a fan (I got Inhuman Rampage the February before and was hooked). I was beyond excited. The album came out and it was all I would listen to at school (since I couldn't use the internet at home). The month after it came out I went to my dad's (my parents had been divorced for most of my life). We went out one day with my uncle and we went to a record shop that sold every form of audio media you could imagine (including 8 tracks). I had been talking about finding the album in there and my uncle said that they didn't sell stuff like DragonForce in this store. We walk in the door and it's the first thing I see. I freak out and grab it, I wasn't leaving without it. My dad offers to get it for me. I never saw him often so he would always get me something when I was over there. We went back to my dad's house and that's where the story pretty much ends. I went back to my mom's and that was that. Not even two weeks later, my dad (who was nearly 60) was in the hospital. He never really took care of himself so his health wasn't the greatest. We didn't even find out until about a month later. He was admitted to a nursing home two months after. In December of 2017 we went to see him and give him his Christmas presents. It was December 22nd. I brought my guitar and played for him. He gave my mom some money to go buy him some chewing tobacco (he says he started chewing to stop smoking) and ear cleaners. We gave him his gifts and then we left, telling him that we'd be back January 19th after my mom got her annual cancer screening. It was the last time I would ever see him. On the 15th of January of 2018, my dad passed away during dialysis. They say that he just never woke up. So what does this have to do with Reaching Into Infinity? The copy that my dad had gotten me at the record shop that June was the last thing my dad ever got me. The last gift he gave me. And the album and the band holds a special place in my heart for that. As of writing this it sits upright on my desk's shelf, slightly beaten but in good shape overall. Every time I look at it I am reminded of the last time I spent a few weeks of summer at my dad's. Every time I listen to it I remember the times I listened to that very copy of the album with my dad. Every time I watch the included DVD. If you took the time to read this, thank you. I know it ran a bit long. To DragonForce, keep doing what you do. I will always keep listening. Miss you, dad.

I've seen them live multiple times and this is total nonsense. Take for example the show this video is from whichwas Downloadfestival in 2018, when they played Three Hammers the microphone cut out towards the end causing them to finish the song with no vocals. Please provide an explanation as to how this would occur if it was pre recorded.

I was here for this 🤘 first band we saw of the festival. And opened with my fav song. Although they did have some tech issues towards the end. Herman's guitar kept cutting out during through fire and flames 😭 they still powered through.
