The music goes so well with that snowy mountain. It just has that wintery feeling

I enjoy the fact you put the stage music together to imply the scoring of a complete scene, which is probably what was intended..hearing the small bits of these tunes outside of that comes off as sort of like hearing the chorus of a song, but not the verse....etc. Hearing everything together like this, you get a broader sense of the compisition AS a complete level soundtrack.

Possibly the best arcade soundtrack ever written. Amazing.

Always loved this song, but only the first 35 seconds. Yeah that beginning part creeps me out TOTALLY!

@@Izzy2crazzy it's "Shimomura," and you're good. She did the second theme for Bay Area in Final Fight, left Capcom, and went on to compose soundtracks for Parasite Eve, Kingdom Hearts, the Mario & Luigi series, Xenoblade, and Final Fantasy XV.

I love all of this music, but the song at 1:32 is my favorite. That could've been the main theme for the entire game, and yet it lasts only a mere moment in the gameplay. There are gems all over this soundtrack. They really should do all of these songs using a live orchestra.

The music used in Strider does sound suspiciously similar in some sections to Emerson Lake and Palmers Brain Salad Surgery....

3:41 that haunting, melancholy sound is what popped in my head today from when I played Strider in the early 90's. Who did the music to this game? It's absolutely hypnotizing. Also the light trail made by Strider's sword was the coolest.
