Dragonica Chapter 5 Full Source Code Server Setup 2023

Hey guys! I'm back! And im back with a solid release this time!
This time i've put together a 100% clean Chapter 5 (REAL CHAPTER 5) with clean database, fixed various legacy bugs, and fully compatible with the chapter 5 source code (adept's vs 2019 source) and the db has been made compatible to use the official delisoft tools aswell! Lots of good opertunities here to start your dragonica server development dream, as a hobby or make your very own server!
I suggest deleting all existing/previous server files you have, and stick with this one and build upon it, as its very clean and a very very strong and good base to learn and use!

Hey everyone! The download links has been updated to include a list of hotfixes that i've done over the course of a few days to improve the overall release and fix the some pesky bugs! Fixes done: - Added a placeholder item for refrence in vending machine in port of the winds - Disabled the unnececary vending machine in Odelia - Added a few original pets in the "shop" in Pet merchant Amy in port of the winds as oiriginal - Fixed many quest text errors, and added them back as original - Fixed all the galaxy maps, they should now work and behave as normally - Nerfed the attack speed/Movement speed on Gm items to make them more authentic and normal behaving. - Fixed alot of Item ID names - Fixed alot of map ID names - Fixed Elga medal entry to now be the correct item to enter elga with - Added back all the missing CP items at each CP vendor - Fixed the Elemental Dungeons - Fixed the rare and Hero mode, they should now display normally for Van Cliff and Drakos - Applied a NPC icon fix so that vendor NPC's such as potion, merchant, blacksmit icons now show normally again - Fixed a few Cash shop items that was not working when trying to buy them - Fully cleaned the DR2_Log - Added visual studio 2019 express in root download folder as this is best suited for this release - Added Defabiltype.h to the root download folder (to view the abil numbers for each item abils, to easier understand what abil id is for what stat/effect.

there are 2 steps missing. 1. the database needs to be adjusted to allow also connections via user authentication not only windows authentication. if this is not set correctly, the mmc won't be able to connect. 2. in the server files folders there is a file called DB_Config, this also has to be adjusted in order to have the correct connection for the mmc server. maybe it helps someone who has issues here.

Hi is there someone who had the "build Solution" error where 2 out of 5 build faild (i have a lot (121) of error on a lot of different files and there is also a lot of warning where it say "The file contains a character that cannot be represented in the current code page (932). Save the file in Unicode format to prevent data loss.")

Its the database DR2_SiteConfig > right click it and select tables > and select Site server > right click it and "edit all rows" or edit 2000 rows" and then in Immigration Server BindPort, change it from 1001 to 1002 and then exit and retry

Did you follow the guide carefully? try perhaps to go into DR2_Siteconfig > siteserver and edit the ServerBindPort of Immigration from 1001 > 1002

Build source code? what exactly do you mean? I am showing in the video how to build it with the correct visual studio. Maybe you are building the source code with the wrong visual studio version? You should only compile freedomall.sln and archangel.sln and not compile something in the cosmos folder. Cosmos source code is in visual studio 2005, and i dont know how to fix the errors or how to upgrade it, for that you need a special c++ developer to do for you.

Heeeelp 😭 I've also got failure to connect to immigration. Followed this tut plus the older one on vimeo, no luck. Done the troubleshooting, redid configs to port 1002 (even tried other ports), restarted SQL, still error. Even did a clean reinstall of win10 😭😭 I'm at my wits end here haaaaalp

Old bug thats existed in the game ever since elga was released. It shouldnt crash all the time, but it can crash some times. Its due to the game leaking alot of memory, unfortunantly.

So the quest Infitration Mission! Kunkah Hideout! (T509137) can not complete even it is a main quest. Do you know where should i investigate to fix the issue ?

V15 wasn't quite there yet to test these, old weapon effects, no 3rd job or baruna weapons. Lastly I won't pay 600$ for someone which may/ or may not be scammer and only cares for greed and not the flyff community, which quite sad tbh.

Uninstall every sql version you have and only go for SQL server 2019 for the server, as of maangament studio it doesnt matter it can be latest version.
