I had it for the first time this past November and it really knocked me out for a few days - the brain fog was extreme and I honestly don't even remember much of what happened anymore. You're a real trooper for finishing the game in that state but I hope you can rest properly now!

@@DorkTales A week later and another session, and we won said fight. We all ganged up on the boiler drake and it rolled a critical failure and when they targeted it at our warlock and pulled the level it exploded and took out 4 of them leaving only the ogre and like one of his dragonkin comrades so we rolled over them like nothing. Altered the fight significantly.

3:02:30 is such a great reaction from the cast. You can /see/ the concern in there, haha Loving this campaign so far, been catching up over the last week or so from episode 1 until now. I intend to run it sometime and being able to see it run is a great source of inpiration and entertainment. I agree wholeheartedly in the using of already purchased content in the face of recent developments, one can enjoy what one already has (and what one homebrews, of course).

How Kelara did 13 damage whit crosbow? If she rolled 8 and have agility modifier +5 then its possible, but has she realy have agility 20? Or did she add proficiency bonus to damage? Which she cant do..

Moonbeam does nothing when it is cast as a heads up. The saving throw /damage /reveal happens on the enemies turn.

@@DorkTales I had it come up in one of my games and that's the only reason I know. It's got tricky wording. Interestingly throwing someone into moonbeam will proc it's effect on them.

Getting outside of D&D rules a touch, but you said that you allow dual rapiers bc “rapiers are light weapons.” As someone who actually practices historic European martial arts, it is absolutely possible to dual wield rapiers , so the end result of the ruling is right, but rapiers are NOT light weapons. There is very real weight to the swords.

5e does have a feat that lets you use the dual wielding rules with non-light weapons, which would I suppose be indicative of "training" with them. But I suppose he's decided to skip that.

I am a bit confused, how did the Green-Flame Blade deal 6 damage to the other target? Does Hazeal have a Charisma of 24? or did she add her proficiency bonus by a mistake?

Man. I know these guys are newer players but watching them take literally minutes on their turn is so painful. They are low level so its not as if they have a ton of choices and still its "uuhhhhmmmmm....hmmmmmmmmm...uhhhhhhh" Drives me insane when players arent prepared on their turn after having plenty of time to prepare a plan or back up plan. My players act quickly or they get skipped or take the dodge action. Combat should move quickly as not to become a slog. If that sounds stressful then AWESOME. COMBAT SHOULD BE STRESSFUL

She's a lunar sorcerer, which is part of the new stuff for krynn. It's a class spell for her. Just like how clerics frequently get spells that aren't cleric spells depending on their domain

Just to expand on that answer - in the Unearthed Arcana version of Lunar Sorcerer, they had Moonbeam as one of their third level class spells. In the published version, they had Lesser Restoration instead. As someone who loves the original books and in the part of the timeline we're playing in (Goldmoon having just become the first true cleric since the Cataclysm, and Kelara also being one of the first shortly after), it didn't feel right to have a healing spell, so with Kelly's permission I swapped it back to Moonbeam which made more sense to me narratively. Hope that helps explain things!

Straight sorcerer levels, but I rolled really well on my stat block and have Dwarf racial stats so...she's pretty good with the "Warhammer" spell ;)
