Like that log antenna, any Ebay style shops that sell it?
@mrpete8913 ай бұрын
I'm curious about that antenna as well... was it pricey?
@cemaxecuter77833 ай бұрын
@mrpete891 the antenna was actually sent to me. I guess you could say donated for testing. I don’t know how much it cost, but the URL that you can see in the video bottom left-hand corner on the antenna is where it came from.

Can you make tutorial how to use T-Halow for wifi bridge? Thank you!
@cemaxecuter77833 ай бұрын
Sure, I’ll try and do a follow up showing how I did it once lilygo sent me updated chips. I bought some when they first came out and in my case the wireless bridge firmware had an issue, but ones purchased more recently are probably fine.

I want to make datalink for UAV. I want to transfer Ethernet and RS232 protocols at a frequency I specify. Which SDR device would make sense to use? I'm thinking antsdr or bladerf?
@cemaxecuter77833 ай бұрын
The sdrpp dev has made an IP based protocol capable of sending data from one SDR to another SDR. We tested it with the bladerf/limesdr. I believe the AntSDR people have an interest in also making the AntSDR capable of doing some kind of mesh like protocol. I think either option could maybe accomplish what you seek - with RyFi being what’s current available (SDR++ guys project).

I only had about enough time to confirm the link was stable and then run a few applications across it. In the near future I’ll try and do more complete testing with different settings.

Any tips for setting up the T-Halow?
@cemaxecuter77833 ай бұрын
If it was weeks or so ago I would’ve wrote you up a book, but it seems much easier now. However, if you have early models you may need a new reflash on the chip that’s in the closed seated thing. If you have recent models and you’re only wanting to do bridge mode it’s pretty easy, and lilygo has updated some steps. I just need to see what’ll work within Linux to attach and send at commands on the usb side. I resorted to windows just due to time. I’ll try and make a follow up where I show the steps I took. Also, I’ve made suggestions to make things easier on future hardware revisions. So perhaps pairing will become a push button feature.

Nice work man!!! I would like to intercept UWB, I already have a HackRF and a BladeRF but they aren't able to handle 8-11 Ghz.. What do you suggest me to do? Try to down the signal to 6 Ghz?

I never thought about the signing piece. Let me look into that, I’m curious how I’d distribute that in a way you’d know it was me?
@CocolinoFan3 ай бұрын
@@cemaxecuter7783 First, you need to have your GPG key. As you can't give that public key in person to everyone, you uploaded to many keyservers and your website, as is unlikely they will all get hacked at the same time. Then, when you make a new .iso you also calculate the sha256sum of that file. When someone goes to your website to download the .iso they also download a file with the sha256sun of the .iso file, made by you. Now they have an .iso file and the sha256sum of that file. So they can check that the .iso file is the same one you made. But wait! If someone hacks your website and replaces the .iso file, won't they also place a new sha256sun file? That is true. That is why you need a 3rd and last file. You sign the sha256sum with your GPG key. None else can create a PGP signature with your key. So if the hacker man hacks your website he will replace the .iso , he will replace the sha256sum, but he won't be able to make a new signature for that new sha256sum file, well at least not a signature with YOU'R GPG key.

Does anyone know if anyone has done any work to interface a HackRF PortaPack and an Operacake? I love the Operacake as an Antenna Switch. Michael Ossmann definitely had vision. I hope he’s not done creating. The “Great Fet” is a nice addition to the HackRF ecosystem. Does more than I know to use it. It’s another way of controlling the Operacake. Your War Dragon builds are looking seriously slick! I still intend to purchase one from the source. What are the turnaround times from order to shipping? Is it a solo operation or do you have helpers . If ever you need help with War Dragon Builds or Documentation or anything else, I’d be happy to lend a hand. It’s the least I can do for using DragonOS all this time. I remember when I was totally confused by Linux… wasn’t that long ago. Now, I’m just mostly confused.! Thanks for all the work you put into your OS

I just about finished up one now, it’s just me. In the US I ship with priority so about 2-3 days it seems. I’m starting to have a lot more stock on hand so although I say 2-3 weeks I typically have it out the same week unless I have to travel. That’s an interesting thought about the PortaPack, although it’s not clear to me how it would stack and still be usable. It’d be a double wide PortaPack haha. I’m always open to help, but ironically enough - it’s hard for me to get help cause I’m going all over the place and not able to respond as quick as id like. You just happen to catch me at a good time with your reply.
