It would not be bad to implement meshtastic complete in gnuradio together with the text messages unencrypted (For peaceful informative issues) - how ever a great project. Are there frequencies at the lower bands (27MHz) where we could eventually acchieve a bigger range? - Over here in Bosnia I only have those big 10m antennas and nobody to communicate with... :(

Hello, i am trying to riproduce same video using 2 bladerf A9 connected to same computer. Unfortunely It doesn t work. TX packets are sent in spectrum but no RX message decoded. I used bladerf soapy sink and source in gnu radio. Please someone helps me

Hi, i watched your video now over and over, but cannot solve my problem. If i try to do test sending and receiving at the same time with an HackRF, it says always on one side, that the device is busy, cause i can only transmit or receive at the same time. Am i doing smth. wrong?

I thought I replied but it must not have sent. I was letting you know the hackrf is only half duplex and cannot send and receive at the same time. In the video the hackrf is sending the meshtastic and the Airspy SDR is receiving it.

Hi i am using dragon os and i am having a problem i try to edit files in libreoffice like op25 trunk.tsv and it will not let me save the file it tells me i don't have the rights to save it but i am a admin on my system . i have tried everything but nothing works. can you help me with this? Save a copy to your home directory or anywhere else besides where it’s at currently in DragonOS. Since it’s under /usr/src it’s owned by root. So do a cp trunk.tsv ~/ and it’ll put a copy in your home directory.

I’m not completely understanding, but I believe if you have the key for the channel, you can probably set it to receive all traffic. I’m meaning to get back to this as soon as I get all caught up.

@@cemaxecuter7783 Yes. I have it now open on all types (longfast, long medium, etc...) but not receiving any messages, even if i am in a big city where i know meshtastic is really active. I want to know if i have to setup smth that i see public discussions. Or do you always need for that keys?

Not sure what you mean. You installed in virtual box or you’re running it live in virtual box ? If you’re running live the user has no password. Try and leave it blank.

Add to the venv if you prefer that route or don’t use sudo and have it only for your current user. I’m unfortunately used to doing so in order to make this distributable.

Just installed R36 and giving this a try but getting a "Cannot import gnuradio." popup (both inside and outside of the virtualenv) when running gnuradio-companion. running apt remove gnuradio and apt install gnuradio sorted the issue (and installed a whole bunch of I think missing dependencies). Edit; thats caused other issues I think. gnuradio-companion was working fine out of the box in r35 fwiw

Apt uninstall and reinstall is not a good idea at all in this case. I built it myself on 3.10.10 and effectively what you did was reinstall 3.10.1 😳and most likely did some damage in the process. I’ll go hurry up and look what’s going on.

If you can boot 36 live or reinstall it open any and all flow graphs before any virtual environment and see if it’s OK please. It seems like you might be trying to use the new radio while within the virtual environment.

@@cemaxecuter7783 thanks! - Just recompiled 3.10.10 into the right paths, rebooted and launched companion before activating the venv and that seems to have done the trick :D

@@sbo3784 I’d highly recommend a reinstall of r36 (I just checked all is okay on my end). I’m not certain what all else would’ve been changed with the apt install piece. But good to hear it’s working!
