@CFreshGaming I'm really digging it. I was able to upgrade the Medusa bow pretty much right away so I'm leveling up my archer like crazy. Also coming from the mystic spearhand I was able to utilize my upgraded hood and pants. So I'm pretty powerful from the get go. Right now I'm running a warrior as my main pawn, a mage for healing and a fighter for some more in your face combat. I'm loving it. I just hang back and fire away.

Against saurians charging, strafe in a circle so your pawns can get in on it. Also, great on stone giants, you can hold agro while ducking and running then shooting

My only problem with builds in this game, is that there really isn't much to customize. Think about it, you just equip weapon with big number, and pick skills you like, there really isn't much else to it.

I just don't know what to do when I knock down a boss as an archer. Melee classes have super strong finishers, are good for climbing on bosses, but archer there feels lackluster

Yea there's no like true execute phase for them which sucks but I'd either rapid fire into there head or weak spot OR spam fire arrows that will do it lol

Right? Tbh the bomb arrow is what I end up resorting to, the master skill feels like it only works if it feels like it and it's unreliable

There’s this uhh death arrow I think? It charges up an attack while you’re stationary. You move to the head quickly and use the ability and it shoots a charged arrow that does extra dmg to weak points.

Not only does it have excellent knockdown power, but Spiral Arrow into any weak spot will do pretty great damage. It also persists long enough for you to fire an explosive arrow. Depending on the enemy, I like to alternate between a spiral arrow or two and one explosive. Under good circumstances, you can take out two or three health bars in one go on a knocked down Drake.

@CFreshGaming idk.. maybe a grappling shot? A short to mid distance shot which allows you to quickly attach yourself to giant creatures or cliffs? They could also use a unique close range ability thatll allow you to hard hit a down opponent? Maybe stab them with the arrowhead with their bare hands.? That'll be cool. Something not too overpowering but will help give this class a bit more shine.

Changing special arrows from something you just equip to separate skills was a bad change. And the skill I really miss from the first game is Tenfold Flurry from the Ranger vocation. Without that massive knockdown and burst damage, I've found that I rely pretty heavily on Spiral Arrow.
