Dragons Dogma 2 - I'm in Achievement & Trophy Guide

I can confirm that you can still get this achievement after going through the legal way. I didn't get a steam pop-up, but it's there on my account.

Thanks couple people have said this I think you just have to take the papers out of your inventory to get it

Took Ox Cart to checkpoint town, saw carriage riding up the hill but needed to save still... went to inn, saved.. carriage gone forever? I've rested at the bench by the inn maybe 50 times, no carriage.

dont rest at the bench, i walked up and down the ramp to the border and suddenly the cart was there and i got the achievement with pop-up after i crossed the border legally
