Dragon's Dogma 2 has to be my most anticipated game of all time. DD1 was such a good game and it was held back at the time heavily.

Back when DD1 came out, I felt like I was the only person playing it. Now I see all these players coming out of the woodworks. It's good to know that other people actually appreciated that game because I probably put about 400 hours into it between 2013-2017. Liked it better than all the big RPGs of the time (including Skyrim, Dark Souls and Witcher 2/3). I'm really looking forward to DD2 too. More than any game in a long time.

Glad you're covering this mate! Always good stuff. When I experienced what they'd accomplished in DDDA, literally a LOTR companion simulator, every other game suddenly felt...wrong? Missing the point? Lonely even? If DDII is only 30% improved, it will still be 300x more immersive than most games released in the past ten years! So glad Capcom let's the crazy ideas fly free.

Judging by how this game is going, I wonder if the Ranger Class is going to return? So far, all game play vids say, yes? I see the Ranger in the background, but no conformation of it? The Clues are there. Maybe they are saving the other advanced classes for later. We already know that the Warrior and Sorcerer is returning, but noting about the Ranger. The only hybrid class I did not see was the Mystic Knight. However we still got time for conformation.

Would be cool if it did, and yeah, from some of the gameplay it's most likely there but they are not talking about it yet. I would honestly like if Alchemist vocation from DD online made it but one can dream.

I don't think I only say that because they split the Strider class into thief and Archer cuz if you remember Strider class you could hold daggers and a bow

@@LastKnownMeal In some of the Trailers, some of the Pawns are holding longbows, Something only a Ranger could equip. Makes me wonder.

@@trublacking8572 Unlike in Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen. I think if the Ranger does return. It needs to be more unique and different from the Archer and Thief. I always wondered if the Ranger should not only have better Archery Skills, but also maybe a companion animal. Like a Wolf or other animals found in the wild. But that is wishful thinking.

Looks and sounds very good. I didnt think i would play this game, but im kinda hyped. But i never liked to have companions, can you play solo in this game and is it recomendable? Very good video.

Thanks for watching, yeah you could play alone in dd1, so I am sure you can here as well, but keep in mind that it's s lot harder, especially depending on your vocation. Strength in numbers is always the best, companions are a lot lore useful here than just being there to follow or fight

@@LastKnownMeal i see, thx. Im just more like a lonewolf player mostly stealth. So companions are extremely annoying for me. I wish there would be some kind of balance/risk-reward system, that rewards you for playing alone in some way, because its more difficult.
