you can go full melee with High Sceptre. Check out Haverlyn's other video on his channel where he goes over the skills of the class. With Illusion Strike, the dark sword and holy sword attack as well as the shield, you can go full melee the entire time.

For any player who recently got into this game, I've started playing myself last Sunday and I wanted to let you know that you can become a High Scepter as soon as you complete the initial quests. I don't know if it was in a recent update, but they included a quest that's available at the start of the game called The High Scepter's Heir. It has recommended level of 10, but I was able to complete it with a level 8 Alchemist. Once you complete it, get the quest reward, which is the starting weapon for the vocation, and it should now appear as a selectable vocation. This is now my main vocation, and I'm loving every minute of it. In fact, this vocation was the reason why I finally decided to jump through the hoops needed to play the game here in the states. Its everything I hoped my Mystic Knight would be and then some. Also, I highly recommend you do the training quest for vocation, because you get an upgraded version of the starting weapon, which will carry you to LVL 30, since there are no weapons between LVL 1 and LVL 30 (at least that I've found so far).

Guy Guy Well despite Cashcom not releasing this for the west they did remaster Dragon's Dogma for the PC and subsequently for the PS4 and XB1 which was pretty well received. The good reception should be reason enough for them to release a second game since there is quite a big audience for this series.

The only reference for this voc battle style I have is from a character from the sengoku basara series, I think 4. He's in all purple and wields a katana with an emo/punk style. Besides that guy I have no reference for this unique battle style. Wow. Edit: Mitsunari is his name.

This is what Final Fantasy XIV battle system should have been like, and this is how Red Mage should have been lol. I remember when they finally turned off the servers of 1.0, to remake the game.. I was playing the demo of Dragon's Dogma a lot, then finally got the game the day it was released.. I remember wishing, and hoping that XIV would play like it when it came out.. I knew it wasn't, but I just wished lol. Hopefully now since Devil May Cry 5 is all done, as well as Biohazard 2 remake.. They work on Dragon's Dogma 2, like the director said he wanted to do, after a DMC5. Huge shame this wasn't released in the west, I played it on Japanese servers with a friend over there for a bit- but it gets so annoying having to sign into the game.. I think if the first game on PS3 was given more attention, this would have maybe come out in the west as well.

There are pawns in DDO. Same as how it worked in DD:DA but the menu is a bit better (if you can read Japanese that is) and you can easily call on pawns you have used in the past.

I think it would cost Capcom more money then they are willing to spend to localize and get servers running. I think it would do well here in the west. I showed the game to my older brother who is more of a casual gamer and even he said it looked dope and would play it if it was out in the west.
